To think eat raw rashers of bacon is disgusting?

As in opening up a packet of smoked bacon rashers that you’ve just picked up from the supermarket, the type you’d put in your fry up, and just eat straight out of the packet? I wash shocked but they told me it’s totally normal and lots of people do it??

Used to love eating raw bacon fat when I was a child / teenager. My mum let me do it but it was the 80's. I was just going to say i never got ill but i did have worms!!

Smoked bacon has so much salt/preservatives in it that I'm sure it's fine, but the idea makes me feel a bit sick

A regular sausage or one of those hot dog sausage? Those hotdog sausages don't need to be heated up (although any reasonable person would).

I mean, if it's salt cured I don't see the difference between that and something like a chorizo or other cured meats.

FourTeaFallOut two regular sausages, I can still picture them. I was supervising lunch hour, walked past, asked another teacher to check if I was seeing things. I asked the child if she usually got that for her lunch, she said she did and she ate them up.

Oh man, that's not good, is it? Did anyone look into why she was eating raw food?

What's with all the delicate flowers this evening? It's not to everyone's taste and probably not advisable but it's not really worthy of disgusting, shocking, revolting and attacks of the vapours is it?
