Minor jobs you're putting off doing for no reason.

My espresso machine needs descaling and the steam wand needs a proper clean. I haven't done this because the descaling liquid is at the back of the bottom cupboard and I can't bend down so need my husband to get it out for me.
Have I asked him to do that? No. I have no excuse for not asking him and I'm pissing myself off with it all.

Please tell me your own minor jobs that haven't been done.

Planting a plant outside. I'm rubbish with plants and at the moment it's doing nicely in a pot.

Getting the hedge trimmer wire fixed so i can trim my solitary bush
Taking the old shower glass screen to the tip

Changing lightbulbs

I could literally be here all night listing minor jobs I’ve put off for too long! Usually they don’t get dealt with until they become major jobs

Putting photos in albums and staining the garden fence

Moving 2019's holiday to 2022. It's booked with Tui and I'm putting off starting to deal with it because I know once I've started, I'll wish I hadn't bothered my arse .

Removing two small cobwebs. Pisses me off every time I walk past them.

Putting the door handle back on the living room door. I had my doors stripped and it took me 6 months before I put 3 handles back on, but I’ve lost one of the bits so need to go and buy another one for the living room.

Putting clothes away, I have a cleaner, if she comes and sees something on a close horse from a load she has done she shouts at me, so I make sure I do it before she comes now.

Sorting out the airing cupboard

Taking the Christmas games hoard upstairs

I don't think there are any minor jobs that I've not put off. Any that involve stamps and posting things will never happen

You’ve just prompted me to order my medication. It’s on repeat, I can order it via the gps website, it’s an e-prescription that goes straight to the pharmacy which is literally round the corner.... yet it’s been on my mental to do list for a few days. Typing this post probably took longer!

I should do what I’ve long been threatening to do, which is take all the Warhammer stuff that’s cluttering up my son’s room, the landing & mostly my room to the dump. He hasn’t touched it since he was about 13 & he’s 22 now. I just think about how much it cost (a lot was for birthdays & Christmas) so I should try to Gumtree it or something but I just keep tripping over boxes of it instead.

Oh please at least put it on FB marketplace for a nominal fee. You don't even have to take loads of pix, just say xxx boxes of warhammer figures, surely someone will want it for a fiver. Then it saves you a trip and is better for the enviornment.

Anyway OP so so so many! top of the list is a for DD needs to fill in and booking my bike in for a repair. That one is even free as I have a government voucher!
