To be annoyed at friend?

I've posted about her before I know. But I do feel she speaks about inappropriate topics with my grandkids. I am really trying to enforce good behaviour with them right now and yet she told them a story about when she was young and a child in her class farted loudly at storytime and the whole class erupted in laughter. The kids were laughing hysterically but I do feel it was inappropriate and not enforcing good behaviour/encouraging bad habits.

Yeah you probably need to lighten up a bit. Kids love a good fart or poop story if it’s a constant stream of fart or poop stories though that could wear a bit thin though

I'm a teacher and this happens all the time. At least once a fortnight. I even laugh sometimes 🤣

HOW did you ever survive your kids growing up and the teenage and young adult years?

I can imagine how hilarious they found that story. It's fine.

They really won't start farting in class after this. The school atmosphere will stultify them.

You know finding poo jokes funny and being respectful are not mutually exclusive you know. It’s about teaching them when they can be silly and when not to be. Loosen up a bit

Crude? they're kids! Farts are hilarious to them, she's just entertaining them. You need to lighten up! You can have manners and still laugh at farts

Jesus we weren't allowed to pass wind in front of my father or even say the F word (fart) it's made me have stupid hang ups about normal, natural bodily functions to this day. Farting is funny when you're a kid!

I hope you don’t have Alexa, as she does lots of different fart sounds at first request.
