I think in the uk its day-lia and in the US it is daaah-lia

Daylia, of course - I've never heard dahlias pronounced any other way in decades of listening to gardeners question time.

Plant: Day-lia
Name: Dar-lia

Flower it's day-lia, name of a person it's dar-lia

Day-liah = British English
Daah-liah = US English
