How often do you eat meat?

I significantly reduced my meat consumption a couple of years ago, now having it about once a month. Planning to increase it again though, to once or twice a week, to boost heme iron.

How often do you eat meat? Have you ever reduced/ increased, and did you feel any different?

On average I'll eat meat every day. Some days, like yesterday for example, I won't consume any meat.

very little...

I eat mostly chicken or tuna..

but like others Im not vegetarian.. I just don't eat a lot of meat ..

Every day, we are a low carb household (well the adults are) so it's hard not too unless we overdosed on cheese or eggs!

Maybe once a month. Fish a couple of times a month. Ex vegetarian.

2-3 times a day. I feel best on a high protein diet. I’ve found that trying to do that plant based causes digestive problems, but a diet heavy on meat and eggs I feel fantastic.

3-5 days per week. One DC prefers vegetarian so when they are around much less, can’t say I feel better or worse for it.

I eat meat/fish for two meals a day.

I have debilitating digestive issues and meat is one of the few things that I can tolerate without severe symptoms.
I tried cutting it out years ago and spent a lot of time curled up near the bathroom, and got malnourished to the point where my hair was falling out in patches.

Once or twice a year. I’m largely vegetarian but very occasionally (usually when drunk) get a craving for meat I can’t ignore.

I’ve also tried to cut back on meat in recent times.
As a couple others mentioned I’ve found my IBS has greatly improved on a roughly 80% vegetarian diet.

Gave up fish completely after watching “Seaspiracy”. Just can’t stomach it, but I didn’t have much before anyway.

Pretty much every day- once or twice a day. I can't go vegan and veggie wouldn't be much easier.

I had some mince in 1999... the last time before that would be about 1988, so about every 20 years apparently, lol.

Never had an issue with iron levels, not even while pregnant.

Maybe 3 days a week but our portion are small and much of it is shrimp. We occasionally have barbequed steak and i make some asian dishes like Moo Shu pork or mushrooms with small amounts.

Eating quite a lot at the moment as trying to eat less carbs and more protein in order to lose weight. Have found having more meat and less carbs is also increasing my energy levels too. Expensive though so not sure I’ll be able to do it long term

I'm normally practically vegetarian and don't like meat in general but in this pregnancy it turned out I was anaemic and deficient in vitamin B so I'm trying to eat it more
