To ask what are you doing right now?

I’ve just had friends round for the first time in months, bloody freezing but lots of fun.

I’m slightly pissed, just tidied up, doused out the fire, now sat with a cup of tea, a tray of dips and crackers. Should go to bed. All of family in bed. But I’m listening to music and chilling.

I’m n bed - drinking vodka watching Grayson Perry art club on catch up tv
DP is drinking tea - watching YouTube - next to me
It’s been a lovely weather day - went to a car boot - did some shopping then DIY - chilled in the garden - fab roast dinner etc

Watching Rebus on TV, drinking gin, I should go to bed as we have DS2s birthday party tomorrow but DH bought a new mattress unsupervised and its really uncomfortable.

In bed, reading Mumsnet, and trying to block out the noise from next door neighboursHmm (their TV is on very loud)...I'm also wondering if it's too late to have a snackGrin

In bed watching musical stuff on you tube.

Had a nightmare day with elderly ill parents who needed my attention for 10 hours. And urgent medical care.

I was meant to be working some of the day the rest was meant to be me time neither of which happened.

It also meant I went over 10 hours without food or drink as parents needs took over.

DC wanted to camp on the back garden.. Favourite bit of Lockdown last year was garden camping! But it's not warm enough so we're camping in the living room. They are asleep so I'm on the sofa. Will have to get back in eventually!

I was cosy in bed but dog started barking madly as neighbours are in their garden bar making lots of noise. So went and calmed dog down. Then my son who has had a few drinks tonight starts sleeping walking around his bedroom knocking stuff over!
Now I'm wide awake!

In bed in the dark, reading men on my iPad. Finishing a glass of wine. Dh sleeps very badly so I've turned the light out to let him get over. I slept on the sofa this afternoon by mistake so not too sleepy yet!

Spent the eve at sisters house, had a bit of a party for 2 family birthdays. First time we have been together since Christmas. Lovely happy day.
Watching TV and cuddling dog now.

Sitting in bed picking at my nose (emphasis on at) trying to watch some ghost programme over DH snoring, feeling a fart brewing thats heading his way.. Knowing I should have been asleep hours ago because I have work in the morning and I'm shattered

I’m awake listening to loud neighbours next door having a party 🙄. Told Bf I’d fetch him from his friends house so want to go asleep until he rings me but no chance with this noise. Plus I didn’t expect BF to be staying out this late so I’m also slightly kicking myself for agreeing to pick him up. Been on a long shift today and I’m shattered. He has left his keys at home thoigh because he is staying my house and his friend lives quite far out so hard to get taxis. I’ve just messaged him to see how much longer it’ll be. Might go and ask my inconsiderate neighbours if I can join their party 🤣

I was going to have quiche but the dog ate it while I was emptying the washing machine.

Right this second I'm thinking that I need to get off mumsnet and go to bed

DH just slunk off to bed, closing down a discussion that got uncomfortable for him. I'm continuing the discussion with a pasta bowl full of Shredded Wheat, Ready Brek, cornflakes, Weetabix, hot milk and sugar. Might have a sharing bag of Magic Stars too 🤫

I'm in bed after watching a film on Netflix and it was harrowing Hmm so not very relaxing. But had a few drinks. Having a bbq tomorrow so defrosted meat for it and have put it in the fridge. Hope to nod off to sleep soon.
