I’ve just had friends round for the first time in months, bloody freezing but lots of fun.

I’m slightly pissed, just tidied up, doused out the fire, now sat with a cup of tea, a tray of dips and crackers. Should go to bed. All of family in bed. But I’m listening to music and chilling.

Feeding my toddler who shouldn't really be fed at this time but he's grumpy and has a temperature. My DP is snoring next to me and is pretending not to be aware that I've been up with a grizzly toddler.

Perhaps grizzly toddler might accidentally kick him. This may or may not be somewhere sensitive.

I'm now too hungry to sleep but cba to get up.

Maybe they were sticking to permitted numbers (if you're in England) and maybe they'll invite you next time. OTOHifvthey had loads of people there , maybe it's time to find some new friends 💐

I was shattered tonight so took myself off to bed early (for me, about 10:30) was asleep before 11:30. (I know as I woke up) went back to sleep, then about 1:30 some teenagers stood under my bedroom window tapping loudly about Shite!! Annoying as they're probably asleep by now & able to lay in bed all day tomorrow! Grrrr

I should switch my phone off though!!

Got the weekend off but can’t sleep.

Just made a cup of tea and fed one of the cats. Bumped into my 16dd on the stairs. She asked me to give her a cuddle and tell her I love her. When I asked if everything was OK she said yes , of course. I just need to know I’m loved. I told her she couldn’t be more loved than she already is. I tucked her up in bed with her teddy. She maybe 16 but shes still my baby.

Crawled into bed trying not to wake my husband but he just snorted , muttered something about roast potatoes and went back to sleep. The cat had now joined me. He wants love too.

Finished a shower and in bed reading mumsnet and eating a chicken, avocado wrap and trying not to get mayo all over my face.

Lying in bed, thinking about the week ahead.

All three DC did stuff with friends yesterday and DH & I had lunch at a local coffee house before we picked DC3 up. It was really lovely. I’m so relieved they’re getting out and about again.

Sat in the garden with a coffee, OH is still in bed so is dd13, dd5 is in bed but awake

Dd5 is now downstairs demanding coco pops

Have just stuck the Yorkshire mix in the fridge and am now knitting socks with a giant cup of tea and enjoying the quiet before the hoards get up

Oooo love reading about what people are up to.

I’m now feeling surprisingly Unhungover so going to attempt a 10k run.

Oh and scoffing a yummy cooked breakfast before braving the garden today.

DS is with his dad today and not home until later. I'm lying on the sofa watching TV. A bit peckish so just chucked some halloumi in to grill. I was planning on going for a long walk but I don't know if I can be bothered.

I am still sat in bed, we have been awake for two hours and are having cup of tea making relays whilst both online and chatting. The cat has been fed but is super angry that we are having a lay in. She keeps coming in and howling then stomping off.

We are out for a walk in about an hour and then DH has to do some work. We had a huge tidy yesterday, We pruned a big tree and then had DS GF round for a BBQ so it’s nice to have a lazy morning. I will go on the online game I play whilst doing the laundry.

Sitting around trying to cheer myself up by reading a Georgette Hever and doing some intermittent ineffective housework. I am generally miserable and not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow after a mildly stressful week off. I'm going to my father in laws this afternoon and in general I am just a bit tired of hanging out with the over 85s.

Sat having some down time now.
Went to the forest and beach this morning with DS.
Had lunch now and will probably take a nap when he does this afternoon. I'm very tired today .

Currently on my first shift as my local mass vaccination site, on my lunch break. Have given nearly 30 jabs since 8am and I'm really enjoying it!

Still sitting in bed having cups of tea brought to me. I'm not normally this lazy but had a breast biopsy a couple days ago and have a swollen,purple boob 🤣 so I'm milking this.

Packing the car for our 48 hour respite break from disabled DS 16.

Just had a bath, about to get dressed then off we go (DH) and I for 2 nights in a little cottage in the centre of Grassington, Yorks.

Tomorrow we have booked a takeaway afternoon tea from Betty's in Harrogate which we plan to scoff in the ruins of Bolton Abbey.

All things we cannot do with DS and we are sooooooo looking forward to it!
