I’ve just had friends round for the first time in months, bloody freezing but lots of fun.

I’m slightly pissed, just tidied up, doused out the fire, now sat with a cup of tea, a tray of dips and crackers. Should go to bed. All of family in bed. But I’m listening to music and chilling.

Nursing a banging hangover 😣.

We had some friends over for a barbecue yesterday lunchtime, but the afternoon turned into the evening which extended late in to the night.

The hangover is definitely worth it. To be able to spend time with friends, chatting around the fire eating cheese and crackers was wonderful. It feels like life is getting back to normal.

Browsing mumsnet and wondering what to do next. I want to do some cooking but also a couple of hours of work. Also need to motivate teenage DS to do homework and tidy room. But first a coffee outside I think 😊☕️

Stuck for over an hour on the motorway as all lanes shut. Contemplating how I can create the sort of social life that everyone seems to be having on here of hanging out with friends in the garden. My fitness are disparate and all over the country.

Also bloody hungry as was on the way for a big lunch out and didnot have breakfast in preparation.

Hiding in the kitchen eating skittles whilst DC watch a film. I hate Sundays. DH works a 12 hour shift and I never get any time in the week free of kids/work.
I think I’m going slightly loopy off it....

Watching Hoarders and debating whether or not to get a snack from the kitchen.

DH is upstairs watching Hustle and eating a cheese toastie that he burnt, so the house stinks of cheese and burnt bread, lol.

The dog is asleep in bed, two of the cats are on the sofa with me, and I think the kitten is upstairs somewhere - probably watching out of the window or chasing feathers under the bed.
