DH just opened a packet of Walkers Marmite) crisps upside down I told him that was what psychopaths do. He disagrees. AIBU?

I always open them upside down! The flavouring falls to the bottom.

Yes, that is truly awful. Does he also rip open envelopes with his bare hands instead of using a letter knife? Does he....put the empty wrappers back in the After Eight box?

I did this by mistake earlier. I felt quite discombobulated. Ended up tipping the packet onto a plate and pretending I hadn’t opened the wrong end.

Ah. Upside crisp opening has always made me very uncomfortable.

I myself of course never did it until about 2 years ago when I must have been very out of sorts. The sky did not fall in.

I still wouldn't do it but it doesn't disturb me as much as it used to if someone else does.

I think you need to do a freedom of information request to your local prison, to clarify how many prisoners with psychopathic traits, open their crisps upside down.
