Total psychopath

LakieLady · 24/04/2021 13:49

I did the same myself earlier (well, not exactly the same, mine were Waitrose own brand), so YABU. Grin

beginningoftheend · 24/04/2021 13:50

psychopath or not, he is now cursed for all eternity

Harryo · 24/04/2021 13:51

Surely they just wouldn’t taste the same if they’re being eaten upside down?

You’re right, eating Marmite crisps is what psychopaths do.

Opening them upside down is bad luck.

Tiredandbored · 24/04/2021 13:51

Marmite flavoured crisps!!??!! Not just a psychopath, but utterly devoid of taste buds as well!! Shock

TimeFlysWhenYoureHavingRum · 24/04/2021 13:51

Maybe he wanted to eat the crumbs first? But no yanbu. Wrong wrong wrong!

Leeds2 · 24/04/2021 13:52

I often do this, because I don't check before opening. If I notice, I turn them the right way round. I don't think I'm a psychopath ..........!

Sleepisoverrated150 · 24/04/2021 13:52

When I was in primary school it meant you were gay, only yesterday when I opened one upside down as I wasn’t paying attention did I realise that would be the oddest way to come out the closet 😂🤣

PrelovedWithValue · 24/04/2021 13:54

When I was in school it meant you were a monkey. If you opened them the right way you were an elephant.

Who wouldn't want to be a monkey?

Radio4Rocks · 24/04/2021 13:55

LTB

Obbydoo · 24/04/2021 13:55

If he was upside down, did the crisps not fall out of the packet?

MrsMoastyToasty · 24/04/2021 13:58

Whats his stance on

cream teas? Jam then clotted cream or clotted cream followed by jam?

These are important considerations in a relationship.

Sunshineonarainydayy · 24/04/2021 14:07

I always thought you get more of the flavour first if you open it upside down, rather than having to poke around for the bits at the end.

PivotPivotPivottt · 24/04/2021 14:08

When I was at school it was said this is bad luck. I never open them upside down. My ex used to do it all the time and it really annoyed me.

Harryo · 24/04/2021 14:14

He would have lemon curd first, then cream on top.

Of course he disagrees. That’s exactly what a psychopath would do.

I voted YABU because you didn’t say if you’d dumped his stuff on the pavement and set fire to it, as you should.

the80sweregreat · 24/04/2021 14:22

I was told this was ' bad luck ' to do this! Not sure why really ! Just an old wives tale.
Unless they are good old plain crisps, then people can keep all the horrible flavors.

Ilovemaisie · 24/04/2021 14:23

It's bad luck.
He's ruined it for everyone now. There will be a potato shortage and the only crisps left will be Marmite flavour and it will be All His Fault. I hope he feels guilty.

Thehop · 24/04/2021 14:23

Leave the bastard

Psycho. I bet he bites all four fingers of a Kit Kat in secret too.

PickAChew · 24/04/2021 14:26

Ds2 opens them upside down. Then he lays them on the table to eat from the packet and the writing is the right way up.

FunnyWonder · 24/04/2021 14:27

Bloody hell! Run for your life. I couldn't cope with that sort of reckless behaviour.

I love doing that Smile
