Ordered myself some new knickers from M&S. I accidentally ordered the wrong style - full brief..... they’re huge. They cover my bum and come right up to my waist. Proper granny knickers. Omg I love them. They are so comfy. I am only 41.... aibu to convert to giant pants at this age???

Do whatever makes you comfortable. I can't stand the pressure on my tummy and its just too much fabric for me. I wear seamless thongs, even the thongs with a bit of extra lace annoy me.

I don't feel any pressure on my belly from my underwear. That would indicate they were too small.

Go for it. You can conceal to reveal. Add to the mystery etc.

I've just purchased some ladies boxer shorts from Amazon. Game changer

Nooooo, I will not wear them, tbf I don't find them comfortable anyway, just too much fabric, and not enough of me to fit them on!

What does that mean? Are you two dimensional? If you don't find them comfortable then that's fine, but you can get full briefs in all the same sizes as other cuts.

I haven't tried granny pants yet, but I love microfibre high legs.
My ceremonial knickers haven't seen the light of day for months, maybe years!

My knickers aren't silly, aren't worn for sex reasons, and even in my size are just too bloody big. Cotton bikinis are fine tyvm.

Completely agree with you. Cotton bikinis or minis are really comfortable to me.

I don't like too much fabric. Hence I never found the boy shorts style comfortable either, despite my friends saying how comfy they are. Drove me mad just like big pants do.

I bought big granny pants for after childbirth thought they'd get put in the bin but I actually don't mind them. Still wear sometimes mainly when in my period.

Thinking about this (possibly too much) I realise what I look for in pants is - I want to put them on and forget they're there.

Thongs, boxers and big pants constantly remind me they are there, the latter because the material is gathering or doubling over on itself, so it's not a smooth uniform pant layer across the expanse of my arse. Meaning then it feels uneven under my outer layer of clothes.

Constantly aware of them. Hard no from me.

I love big massive comfortable knickers, I only buy M&S black ones and put a black bra on so it kind of matches and looks slightly better than floral.

I have the ones with the lace top in various colours to spice things up for myself...

Me too, since January, when I had an op & on the advice of MNers invested in two packs of 'Bridgets'. I felt embarrassed about them to start with, but OMG they're comfortable! I've been thinking of ordering some more, but I have umpteen pairs of pretty little lace-topped briefs to get some use out of soon.

My M and S size 18 full briefs (with bows 😊) also provide additional shade to our neighbours garden when I peg them out.
Win win.

I bought my first pack of these a couple of years ago at 38. Never going back.

M&S full brief flexifit here. I had a few pairs, realised I would do a mini fist pump on days they were clean and available (vs other bikini pants I had worn for years), so bought ten pairs. Now I wear comfortable pants Every Single Day. Game changer .

Also, I maintain they have a sexy fifties vibe

I'm 29 and prefer full brief, I've been wearing them a lot of the time for a few years. I actually prefer them for the style, they are back in fashion now.

I’ve just turned 30 had a baby 5 months ago and can’t seem to stop wearing my big pants I bought for after birth! They are just so bloody comfy!!

I wear granny knickers AND I have a hairy fanny and dh doesn't care. He still fancies me.

I find the concept of wearing 'sexy' underwear to tittilate 'your man', a bit odd. Reminds me of Benny Hill getting all hot under the collar and saying 'phwoar'

Thats just me though. And I know a lot of women feel sexy in it, but I would feel a bit daft.

I've had five c sections, despite being a size 10/12 I now love big pants. Anything smaller just rubs uncomfortably against my scar, I need knickers up to my navel these days
