Ordered myself some new knickers from M&S. I accidentally ordered the wrong style - full brief..... they’re huge. They cover my bum and come right up to my waist. Proper granny knickers. Omg I love them. They are so comfy. I am only 41.... aibu to convert to giant pants at this age???

No one's suggesting you wear them as anniversary lingerie.

I have some wholly uncomfortable underwear for if I'm wanting to treat DH.

But to be fair he doesn't care at all which knickers I'm in. He's happy if I'm in any way partly clothed.

For the school run, housework, doing my job my comfort wins over what my DH thinks of my undies!

I’m in my twenties and have a pack of full briefs and I think they’re great! I usually go for midi briefs which don’t come quite as far up the waist but are still comfy. I’ve never understood knickers that don’t cover your bum properly, what is the point!

Yeah I'm pretty sure DH gives zero hoots about my knicker choice. But I am the sort of person that like their tights to be right up to their armpits too, to keep my kidneys warm

I've worn big black pants since I had dc 1 when I was 21. I am almost 31 now. I would never buy anything else.

I did the same recently, also from M&S. I accidentally ordered granny pants instead of my usual type. At first I was annoyed because of course you can't send knickers back. Then I tried them on and found they were so comfy I bought another couple of packs!

At least I have the excuse of being 15 years older than the OP so I think I can get away with granny pants at my age

Had a baby 4 years ago.
4 comfortable, warm, blissful years of ginormous (I'm a size 20- so not exaggerating!) Knickers.
I'm concerned that should we ever holiday abroad again I'll need a separate suitcase for them.

Mine aren't waist height but are big and I love them, would never go back, younger than you and been wearing them years!!

I get the M and S bikini knickers in a size up so there's plenty of room in them. They're a great compromise I find and super comfortable.

There's always a time for comfort! I've never had uncomfortable pants though - and I intend to spend a fortune in Primark this week!

I’ve been wearing them since my mid 20s definitely no going back once you start. Still have a few pair or frilly ones but only wear them when I know they won’t be on long 😉

Honestly underwear should be comfortable above all else! I have a few "sexy" bits I keep for special occasions but my partner doesn't find me any less attractive in my big knickers, and why should he? I don't expect him to wear scraps of cloth instead of actual pants just to find it attractive

Full bum coverage is what I look for. I go for M&S midis, because full briefs can come up higher than some trousers.

My people 🙏🏻 I recently ordered M&S full knickers after constantly getting uti's so I decided to ditch the sexy knickers look and have a drawer full of lovely comfortable M&S knickers!!
Teenage dd laughs at mums big knickers but I love having my bum covered 👍
