purplebunny2012 · 31/03/2021 19:41

I'm taking the other week of Easter off! Last day tomorrow

CatsHairEverywhere2 · 31/03/2021 19:42

@Bekstar it’s ok, some of us said a lot worse to the OP when we first commented Grin as an aside, it sounds like you’ve been through hell. I really hope you’re ok and recover quickly Flowers

Barney60 · 31/03/2021 19:44

Nope out of order, lots of people cant have the vaccines, my daughter has so many allergies so cant have current ones, i do know they are working on inhalers and tablets we are hoping perhaps then.
I work in a hospital quite a few refused it.

WeMarchOn · 31/03/2021 19:45

Read it again! Or read the thread before posting :)
csigeek · 31/03/2021 19:47

Force?! No way!
But I do think they should be restricted, no travel, no restaurants, no concerts etc.
No jab, no entry.
Unless you have a medical reason to not have it.

csigeek · 31/03/2021 19:49

Omg just noticed a few comments above and realised 🙄 doh
Absolutely vacations!
I stand by my comments about vaccinations though haha

malmi · 31/03/2021 19:50

This thread just keeps on giving!!

OP you are totally right, some people just don't get it :) glad to see the vast majority agree too haha

Barney60 · 31/03/2021 19:51

OMG just scrolled, took me a while!

Pinkrinse · 31/03/2021 19:53

No. Recommend but don’t force !

MayYouLiveInInterestingTimes · 31/03/2021 19:55

That’s really good op, caught me the first time.

Might one enquire whether the forcing involves funding, and to what level? Although I like camping. Smile

ssd · 31/03/2021 19:56

This thread us brilliant.
And fwiw i think mandatory vacations are a great idea, even though i felt grotty after my last one

Ratched · 31/03/2021 20:02

God, I am thick!
I read it at LEAST 17 times.
I still vehemently disagreed with it. I kept reading it because of the comments. I still was discusted.
It was only when reading a post that actually 'outed' vacations and i checkedthat it clicked 😶😶😶

minou123 · 31/03/2021 20:05

We don’t live in China, you can’t force people to have a jab, it’s up to them, we don’t live in a police state

Fuck, i didn't have China on my bingo card.

I don't know how to link to other threads on the app but it's in relationships "New neighbour wants me to be friends with his wife"[/quote]
Thank you.

anguauberwaldironfoundersson · 31/03/2021 20:10

My mate sent me this last night and I literally asked if she'd gone full dictator on me.

I fully support this OP

HooHaaaaaa · 31/03/2021 20:21

I read it so many times, looked at the grammar and even googled what "mandatory" meant in case I got it wrong (I didn't!). Can't believe I missed that it said vacation! It's actually scary isn't it, how brainwashed I am!

WeMarchOn · 31/03/2021 20:21

@minou123 someone threw a curve in your bingo making

ionlyasked · 31/03/2021 20:22

You wont need to force me. My bags are packed. 🤞🤞

Eve76 · 31/03/2021 20:27

I agree , vacations should be mandatory hence why I’ll be taking mine in October hopefully when covids pissed of a bit and I can get pissed in a pub and become a nuisance Smile

WeMarchOn · 31/03/2021 21:21

My new slogan should be "Make Mumsnet great again"

Bertiebiscuit · 31/03/2021 21:27

If you want to visit some countries you have to have certain vaccinations - or you can't go-anyone who refuses to be vaccinated must stay home and not mix with the rest of us - after all for no fault of their own or of their choosing many of us had to stay home for months and months - quarantining, self isolating or shielding - as soon as vaccination is available to all adults this must be what the refuseniks accept now

user1498572889 · 31/03/2021 21:40

I read it then read it again then read it again. Then I understood and 100% agree. 😁☀️😎

WeMarchOn · 31/03/2021 21:40

@Bertiebiscuit what about vacations?
