Seems to be very popular on here.

Would I like it? I liked Homeland.

Should I start with the new series, or go back to series 1 (if that's even possible)

Or not bother and just continue with Call My Agent on Netflix which we are watching at the moment.

Watch it, nothing to lose- if you like it great if not then no issue! X

Bagelsandbrie · 21/03/2021 16:25

It’s fantastic. You have to start from the beginning.

DinosaurDiana · 21/03/2021 16:26

I’d watch it from the beginning.

LAgeDeRaisin · 21/03/2021 16:27

Loved Homeland and loved Line of Duty (they are different though)

I'd start with series 1

Sciurus83 · 21/03/2021 16:28

If you like Homeland I think you will like it. Definitely go to the beginning, there is a storyline that runs through

Sciurus83 · 21/03/2021 16:29

Pretty sure it's all on All4, I watched it all on mat leave!

LAgeDeRaisin · 21/03/2021 16:29

OP I always think that starting a series is easy because the episodes are generally short/under an hour. If the first one is rubbish you haven't lost much.

If I endure a 3 hour film which turns out to be crap, I feel more wronged Grin

sst1234 · 21/03/2021 16:30

OP you are missing out. In a positive note, that’s a weekend’s worth of binge watch for you right there. Best tv show out there.

MumofPsuedoAdult · 21/03/2021 16:30

Definitely go back and watch from the beginning. I'm jealous that you have all that still to watch ;)

dancemom · 21/03/2021 16:31

It's on iPlayer I'm rewatching it's with dd

Sansaplans · 21/03/2021 16:31

Agree that you need to start from the beginning! Some series are better than others imo, but overall I think it's a good watch.

TicklishSmile · 21/03/2021 16:32

Yes.

Reallybadidea · 21/03/2021 16:32

Start from the beginning, definitely. Being able to watch 5 seasons from start to finish will be a massive treat!

dementedma · 21/03/2021 16:33

Havent seen it either

Pan2 · 21/03/2021 16:33

Loved Homeland.

Watch LofD from the beginning.

TheRaccoon · 21/03/2021 16:33

I’ve got a few friends who absolutely love it, but I watched the first 2 seasons and just didn’t think it was great.

As PPs say, give it a go!

BanditoShipman · 21/03/2021 16:35

Late to the party, started watching series one Friday night, have now finished and starting series two tonight! Loved it!

Flowers24 · 21/03/2021 16:45

Havent seen it but tried first episode and couldnt get into it?

MumofPsuedoAdult · 21/03/2021 16:47

@Flowers24

Havent seen it but tried first episode and couldnt get into it?
If you're struggling from the beginning I'd start from series 3. That was where it got REALLY good. It's easy enough to follow from there.
skippy67 · 21/03/2021 16:48

Maybe you need to watch another one?

Sinistersister · 21/03/2021 16:48

Well finish what you’re watching at the moment, then give it a go. I love it. It’s addictive and builds upon itself with each episode. It’s excellently written and acted tv and I say that very rarely.

VienneseWhirligig · 21/03/2021 16:49

I couldn't get into it the first time I tried to watch it, but I tried again and concentrated properly and would say it's one of the best things on telly.

SmokedDuck · 21/03/2021 16:50

Yes, son't start in the middle. It's very good overall but the earlier seasons are a little better. And it makes more sense that way.

MintLampShade · 21/03/2021 16:51

I loved Homeland and really enjoyed LoD. Give it a go. For me, it got better with each season.

BurtonHouse · 21/03/2021 16:51

YAVU not to have watched it. Best tv programme in years, and I say that as a huge Homeland fan too.
But I'm deeply envious, as you have it all to see with fresh eyes.
Over the last few weeks I've re-watched all previous 5 series and found them just as thrilling the second time around. Beyond excited about tonight.
