to have never watched Line of Duty?

Seems to be very popular on here.

Would I like it? I liked Homeland.

Should I start with the new series, or go back to series 1 (if that's even possible)

Or not bother and just continue with Call My Agent on Netflix which we are watching at the moment.

The first 4 seasons are good. Although him shagging everyone gets dull.

Goes a bit weird om season 5. They all forget bout to act and the sound effects and music are like watching Dawson leery make movies..

I watched season 1 which was ok but didn't inspire me to watch any more. Definitely continue with Call my Agent though, brilliant!

Me and DH love it as do just about everyone we know. We have watched all series at least twice and are quite excited for the new series tonight.

We loved the first series of Homeland but then just got bored with it dragging on and on

Me neither. Tried, found it dull. But I haven't watched Lost, Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones.

There are only 6 episodes in each series. Plus if you start at the beginning you will have quite a few in the new series to watch at once. Some parts are gruesome but just turn away!!! Don't watch it on a hangover either!! The anxiety!!!

This was my experience. I just found it grim and unappealing, despite being a big fan of many of the regular cast in other roles. I'm probably not the target audience as I don't care for anything else of Jed Mercurio's either -- the only bit I remember from Bodyguard is how peevish the bodyguard character always looked, and I was thinking you could cast that actor alongside the equally grumpy-looking guy from Games of Thrones (Kit Harrington?) in a particularly laugh-free Waiting for Godot.

It's really good but I found season 1 (I think it was s1) hard to watch because of the shaky camera! I find all the seasons have a weak first and sometimes second episode but are worth it.

Absolutely LOVE line of duty.

Don't even try and just jump into it as the main story line is continued from the beginning.

Watch it. You won't regret it.

Me and DH went back to season 1 recently and have binge watched it all the way through before it starts again tonight.

Also have a weird crush on DC Arnott. Not even ashamed of it.

We started with the last 5 mins of the penultimate episode of series 4, decided it looked good and watched the final episode. I went on to watch 5 and enjoyed it.

Last year I watched the whole thing. I did flag a bit in series 3 but perservered. Series 5 was even better then as I knew the history.

If you've not seen Unforgotten you should. It's even better imo.

I was late and watched all previous series during lockdown. Couldn't believe how good and gripping it was.

Oh, are there rumours? I hadn't heard! Wonderful, if so! I got very fond of all the main characters, and some of the famous guest stars. I've always loved Nathalie Baye, but her feng shui scene killed me, and DH has begun asking 'What would Noémie do?'
