Seems to be very popular on here.

Would I like it? I liked Homeland.

Should I start with the new series, or go back to series 1 (if that's even possible)

Or not bother and just continue with Call My Agent on Netflix which we are watching at the moment.

It's all on iplayer from series 1. It's addictive

I only began watching Line of Duty last series and wish I'd seen it sooner. It is gripping, if rather violent. And the acronyms - rather confusing and there have been some comical quizzes about them. IIWY I'd google those so you've got some idea of what they're on about. I've not seen Homeland so can't compare and only you will know if it appeals. However, millions of us can't be wrong.

Yes - it's superb. Unlike a lot of hyped series it's really not overrated. Start from the beginning!

Keeley Hawes's character DI Lyndsey Denton season 2 was by far my most favourite character, I had hoped that she would become part of AC12.

Stephen Graham's character DS John Corbett season 5, as an actor I just love this guy. Class act all round.

If you liked homeland, you'll love this but yes start from the beginning.

I think it's brilliant so would definitely recommend. You need to start with Series 1 as the story slowly builds - not to give anything away, but a character who died in Series 1 is still around in Series 5!!! I so recommend Unforgotten too - again, start from Series 1 - brilliant stories.

I didn’t start watching it when it first came on TV. Binge watched it a couple of years ago. I’m really excited for tonight. Just hope I’m not disappointed.

If police dramas are your thing. You should enjoy it, but I would start from the beginning.

It's not Homeland, but it is very enjoyable.

Definitely worth watching from Series 1.

I'm half thinking with Covid brain I probably have forgotten a lot of Homeland, so am thinking of restarting it in a year or two.😁
I really enjoyed it....more than Breaking Bad😲

It's a great series, imo, but I do think you need to start at the beginning as what happens in the first series runs through the whole show and impacts each separate series and character.

Homeland - I initially enjoyed but, like a number of series, it went on too long and stared to become rather ridiculous I thought with some really ludicrous plot lines and daft things like the secret service skyping, Carrie blending seamlessly into hostile Arab states by lazily draping a scarf over her blonde locks, and not happy about what they did to Rupert Friend! I started re-watching it and just ended up spotting more daft stuff which irritated me so I gave up.

I enjoyed both. I loved the ending of Homelands.

Me neither, I kept saying I must give it a go then never did. With the new series starting there's been more talk of it recently so I watched series 1 episode 1 this morning and I love it! I can't wait to get my next free few hours to binge some more. I think it's definitely worth a watch

I’m going to go against the grain here..I only watched the second series but to me it just didn’t ring true..the script is so bad and some of the acting dodgy. Good storylines but totally unbelievable. I seem to be in the minority though so give it a go!

Great TV series. I think we watched it all 2 years ago for the first time and we loved it.

I watched the first episode and thought really? Is that what everyone's going on about?

Watched the second episode and binged watched every series within a few weeks. Loved it!
