I am running out of shows to watch. I like psychological thrillers and documentaries.

Best psychological thriller I've watched on Netflix is Bates Motel! It has 6 seasons too so will last you a while.

I recently finished Marcella. It took a while for me to get into it but it's pretty good. The most recent season (3) is quite different from the first 2.

I've also just finished Begind Her Eyes. It only has 6 episodes so is good to fill a gap.

mrsfindlay · 09/03/2021 23:06

Black mirror

Behind her eyes

Cheat

The sinner

Snowpiercer

Mooloolabababy · 09/03/2021 23:08

I loved series 1 and 2 of Dark but switched off after watching the first episode of series 3. I didn't like the additional element to it (won't say any more as don't want to give away any spoilers!)
I'm watching The Crown, very late to the party, but loving it! If you've not watched The Great, it's amazing (on channel 4 though not Netflix!)

beachlife18 · 09/03/2021 23:10

Just finished behind her eyes, it's really good

mrsfindlay · 09/03/2021 23:12

Also "You"

Chocsmyfav · 09/03/2021 23:15

The new documentary about the Mormon bombing was really good, a bit slow to start with but enjoyed it

Chocsmyfav · 09/03/2021 23:16

Also lupin was excellent

@Zevia

The best Netflix original (according to me and quite a lot of listicles) is the criminally under watched Bojack Horseman.

Its neither a psychological thriller nor a documentary, but I shoe horn in the recommendation whenever I can!

Problem is it starts really slowly (I believe the first season gets about 60% on Metacritic, whereas seasons 2-6 get well above 90%). If ever there was a show to stick with...

Agree with this.

I’m currently half way through “Unbelievable.”
Very sad and sickening story. Could have done without some scenes but the acting is good, and it is awful to see how rape victims can be treated (based on true story).

Nameisjustaname · 09/03/2021 23:19

I'm waiting for my next binge. It will be on the 25th March and its season 3 of ShtiselGrin

IdblowJonSnow · 09/03/2021 23:20

Agree with a PP that The Great on C4 is fab. Also, The Terror on iplayer was very dark, tense and bingeable.
Behind her Eyes was very watchable but ultimately crap - think it's a marmite one.

Lovely1a2b3c · 09/03/2021 23:22

I have enjoyed 'How to get away with murder' (the first two episodes aren't great but glad I persisted- on season 5, episode 6 now!), 'This is us' and 'The Queen's Gambit'.

Lovely1a2b3c · 09/03/2021 23:23

'The haunting of hill house' is also really good.

Whysolong7 · 09/03/2021 23:23

How to get away with murder.

PickAChew · 09/03/2021 23:23

Lupin.

greenemerald · 09/03/2021 23:26

Currently watching snowpiercer and trying to get into 'the fall' with Gillian Anderson

NewMum2021x · 09/03/2021 23:27

Firefly lane! (About two women who meet as teenagers in the 70s and grow up best friends, both had completely opposite lives but omggg soooo interesting I watched it all in a day)

Ginny & Georgia - also an amazing watch and watched this in one day also!

greenemerald · 09/03/2021 23:27

Also loved lupin (even though plot holes the size of craters lol)

ichundich · 09/03/2021 23:28

The Barrier

Lovely1a2b3c · 09/03/2021 23:30

Snowpiercer is brilliant. If you like documentaries I recommend Daughters of Destiny and A Suitable Girl. And my personal favourite - food documentaries. Street Food series, Chef's Table, Anthony Bourdain and Flavourful Origins are all worth watching.
