Hi

I'm 28 and have had multiple miscarriages.

I really want to have the vaccine but a friend has mentioned they do not know the affect this has on fertility.

As I'm already struggling to have a healthy pregnancy (I currently have the coil fitted to help with endometriosis and give TTC a break for a year or two) I'm worried about this.

Any opinions on this would be welcomed, thank you.

@JustOneMoreStep I am very sorry to hear this. I too had a chemical pregnancy (naturally conceived) last month, so I know how heartbreaking it is. I wish you all the best for your future transfer. Thank you for sharing xx

Hi OP!!!
Please note this is 100% my own thought and opinion and has no bearing on your obstetric history - I’m so sorry about your experiences so far.
I have no children, would like them one day but honestly not bothered at the moment (I’m 29). I was never concerned with the vaccine affecting my fertility, honestly didn’t even come into my decision to have the vaccine. My thought process was/is “I have current living people who need me more than maybe future children” I.e I would rather survive COVID and be around for my niece and nephew and if I can’t/don’t have children that’s the way it is.
I am sure that if I were at the point in my life where I wanted children, my decision making probably would have been delayed because of this.
I don’t think you can say a right or wrong answer, but I read that you just wanted to read other people’s opinions - I also work as a midwife and have read lots of research regarding COVID so I am able to inform the people I am caring for.

Hope this helps! Fingers crossed for you Flowers

It won't affect fertility please stop listening to rumours and stupid opinions it's is highly offensive to us scientists.

You scientists? Superiority complex much? I’m also a scientist and not remotely offended by critical thinkers.[/quote]
Weird that you are a scientist and think this is critical thinking 🥴
