3 year old - free to a good home today.

Having one of those days with my toddler where she wants to do nothing, everything I do is wrong, and she will argue black is white.

Anyone else 😂 come in, let's have a moan together.

I'll pay you to take mine. I'll throw in a cat too.

Somethingvague · 21/01/2021 11:02

I am sometimes tempted to mark my 2.5 year old as 'free to a good home'.

LizzyBennett · 21/01/2021 11:04

I'll swap one toddler for a 17 & 18 year old - any takers??

OverTheRainbow88 · 21/01/2021 11:04

I’m not even that bothered about it being a good home any more- anyone who would take them is welcome... NO RETURNS

CigarsofthePharoahs · 21/01/2021 11:11

I have a 6 year old with a right face on today. Yes ds2 I do expect you to actually do some work. I'm not falling for the wobbly bottom lip any more. Stop going "Hnnnnoooowaaaaahh" every time you're asked to do, well, anything.
I also have a defective 10 year old whose only skill appears to be sitting on a chair, rocking back and forth saying "Pizza!" in a silly voice.
Free to good home. Or okayish home. I'm not too picky.

Cuntitinthebin · 21/01/2021 11:21

I frequently try to swap my four year old for my brothers Labrador.

My brother frequently refuses.

I may just make the exchange and deny all knowledge when he finally notices.

DioneTheDiabolist · 21/01/2021 11:25

I hear you OP. I have a 3yo and yesterday was wishing the Child Catcher was a real thing.😳🤣🤣🤣

mynameiscalypso · 21/01/2021 11:27

I offered my DS as a prize in a quiz the other day.

OnNaturesCourse · 21/01/2021 11:30

Haha, oh ladies you do make me feel better.

I wonder if I can get away with just tieing a sign to her saying FREE and leaving her outside sometimes. She comes with free cat and bundle of toys that are currently littering up my livingroom while she cries she's bored.

Pregnant with #2 and wondering what the hell I am doing to myself.

I have a nearly 3 year old toddler, looks like an angel but is Satan in human form.

Any takers? 😁

Hahaha - my mother used to threaten me with the child catcher when I was a kid!

Hi op

Have you tried switching her off then back on again ? Grin

hansgrueber · 21/01/2021 11:59

My OH said he always regretted turning down 50 camels for our daughter, especially when she was being a pain.

We used to tell ours that if they were really naughty the men in the white van would take them away. One day they were off the wall when a white van stopped outside, you've never seen anyone run and hide as quickly.
OnNaturesCourse · 21/01/2021 12:01

Lol @ switching her off and back on - that makes me miss the days where she'd go down for a nap and taking her out in the car for a kip was like a reset button 😂

Where were you all few months ago when I was doing IVF and spending loads of money 😅

I would have followed those offers and pick up a free one instead 😜

Meerkatmummy4 · 21/01/2021 12:20

😂😂 I've got a tantruming 5 year old who wants more schoolwork because he's bored, mummy wants to sit down and relax

Santaiscovidfree · 21/01/2021 12:22

Hang fire op. Soon you will have a 2 for 1 offer!

OnNaturesCourse · 21/01/2021 12:33

@Papoy 😂 the offers still stand, take on as many as you dare lol.

@Santaiscovidfree I need to remember that over the next few weeks haha maybe someone in the delivery suite will want a instant family including pet 😂 hell I might even through DP into the offer too, he comes in handy sometimes!

There's a massive self-storage place near us that's bright orange. I've told my son it's The Baby Shop and I'm taking him back for a refund or exchange.

When my daughter was two she suggested that we turned her sister off as she wouldn't stop crying (colic). I'll swap my teenagers and cats for a toddler. Although I do have a baby and in a year I'll probably be back on here pulling my hair out but at least toddlers are cuter than teenagers.
MrsMoastyToasty · 21/01/2021 13:30

Is there any market for teenagers and husbands?

I have a 14 year old male who refuses to get started on anything and a 53 year old vintage who has terrible emissions.

OverTheRainbow88 · 21/01/2021 13:42

I was hoping my youngest would nap during my a level teams call... he had other ideas!

Thesagacontinues · 21/01/2021 13:53

I have a 19 month old. He is absolutely so cute, blonde curly hair, blue eyes, chubby cheeks, cute baby feet, a gorgeous baby that I just want to pick up and cuddle and kiss and see his gorgeous smile and hear his cheeky laugh...

Then he wakes up (at 6am) and starts with his orders and crying to try and get his own way 😱. The last year was so hard and I though it would start getting easier now, but oh no, here come the terrible twos.

This morning when making the coffee at 6am, he handed a bottle of wine from the fridge to it... and I contemplated having a glass there and then 🤣

Calmingvibrations · 21/01/2021 13:58

Can teenage years be worse?! Praying a nightmare, non eating, non sleeping, argumentative toddler equates to a easier than average teenager to come.

I’m clinging on to hope, any hope...
