3 year old - free to a good home today.

Having one of those days with my toddler where she wants to do nothing, everything I do is wrong, and she will argue black is white.

Anyone else 😂 come in, let's have a moan together.

I have got a draft listing on ebay (not joking, they wound me up once so typed it there and then). The dog isn't included though

Sexnotgender · 21/01/2021 18:26

@Shinyletsbebadguys we’ve got a dog like that. My DH was unimpressed when he just lay down on their walk and wouldn’t move😂 35kg of lazy greyhound!

suziedoozy · 21/01/2021 18:51

@babybythesea that is exactly what I keep telling myself - I need to print it off and put it on my wall!

I want her to be a strong independent fierce woman....

I do I really really do but good god it makes for hard work when she is only 22 months 🙈

VienneseWhirligig · 21/01/2021 19:06

Any takers for a nearly 21 year old who is always boiling hot and therefore seldom fully clothed, and has a habit of flushing the loo just when I have to unmute on Teams? It's quite loud and my work space is the wall next to the bathroom. I know it's not deliberate but my god it's bad timing!

Dunno. Male or female?
GeordieGreigsButtButtZoom · 21/01/2021 19:28

This reminds me of the time I begged some friends to kidnap me so I wouldn't have to go home and could just live forever on their farm with them, but they refused because they said nobody would ever pay the ransom.

AlbusSeverusMalfoy · 21/01/2021 19:31

@OnNaturesCourse

Yep. I'd swap her for a teenager today... Least a teenager wouldn't be clinging to my leg while demanding more juice.
You are wrong 😑
rwalker · 21/01/2021 19:31

When me and my sister were playing our mum up when we were small she used to say "when the nuns come collecting for the children home I'm going to give them one of you "
Totally back fired as we would then start arguing which one of us was going

SoupDragon · 21/01/2021 19:32

When DD was a baby, I took her to be weighed at baby clinic purely to work out how much the postage would be to send her to someone else 😂

She's 14 now and absolutely fine.

SoupDragon · 21/01/2021 19:32

(And still with me!)

Itsnotlikethiswithotherpeople · 21/01/2021 19:37

Any takers for an emotional 5 year old? Plus side he will tell you he loves you hundreds of times a day and hug you at any opportunity. Downsides getting dressed is a traumatic life event and homeschooling well... it’s all just a bit much for his easily overwhelmed self. Don’t worry though he will tell exactly how he feels, loudly. Comes with free ear plugs

User2921 · 21/01/2021 19:42

I did swap mine. For an amazing 20 year old who makes me laugh every day.
It did take 18 years to seal the deal though.

2021optimist · 21/01/2021 19:52

My two are lovely and I wouldn't swap them for the world. 19:52

By 8pm, who knows?? Grin

Inthenightgarde · 21/01/2021 19:54

Oh my gosh yes... 3 year old Ds here... exhausted!!

VienneseWhirligig · 21/01/2021 20:00

@GeordieGreigsButtButtZoom male. Generally kind and funny, bit depressed but not unbearable. Is this selling the proposition?

Disastermagnet27 · 21/01/2021 20:00

Anyone want DS2 aged 6 to go along with the 9 year old?
Constant whinging is doing my head in!!!! At least the xbox is now off!

KateF · 21/01/2021 20:02

I look after an adorable one year old boy who has an equally adorable four year old brother. I've tried to persuade their mum to swap them for a couple of hormonal teenage girls but she's not playing ball!

My eldest used to ask what I'd do if someone kidnapped her. I'd say not to worry, they'd bring her straight back when they found out she never, ever stops talking. She's now 21, little has changed!

Santaiscovidfree · 21/01/2021 20:05

On the opposite end of the scale my dc threaten me with the old folks home (2 doors down from me) . My reply is that 7 days a week of dc free time isn't really a threat!

OnNaturesCourse · 21/01/2021 20:26

@Santaiscovidfree my younger sibling often threatens our parents with this 😂 she's the only one left at home so feels the need to assure them she is not turning into a care giver lol.

Mine is 20. Has never stopped talking since learning how. Talks to himself if no one else is listening. Easier to tune out now than he was at three as at least its unlikely he is doing anything dangerous that I actually need to pay attention to. Still get but mum listen only now it is maybe 20 times in a conversation rather than eleventy billion times a day for EVERYTHING mind. The joys of ASD and ADD. Roll up potential adopters and/ or future spouses.
