AIBU to want a Mandalorian "Child" soft toy for Christmas?

I know, I am a very grown woman - although young for my years 😂 - but am totally besotted with Grogo! 🥰🥰🥰. He is just the most stunning little guy ever created for tv and my heart just melts each time he is on the screen. 😍😍😍 (I'm not even a Star Wars fan!)

Feel free to tell me to grow up/get a life etc. but if you are planning on buying one of these for your DC at Christmas, their gift would not be safe around me. 🤣🤣🤣

Please tell me I am not the only person suffering from this obsession.

@LaurieFairyCake can I ask? I read about the animated one and a few people were moaning saying the motor was very loud. Sounds like yours isn't though. Can you please let me know? Oh how I would love one that coos at me, tilts his head and look at me with those lovely eyes. 🥰😍

YABU to call him the Child or Grogo. His name is Baby Yoda and that’s that. But YANBU to buy one, my baby loved hers after the initial six months of sheer terror of him wore off.

I don’t want a stuff toy version I want a real version!!! I’m not a Star Wars fan and don’t often find things super cute but omg he is gorgeous and for some reason makes me feel all broody when I see him! It’s his little neck and his facial expressions- so bloody cute!! Lol

I was totally smitten by him in Smyths when shopping for my son’s birthday in October -I was just stood bopping his little nose, I must have looked crazy!
I bought two then for my sons for xmas and luckily they fell in love when they saw him in the shops too so he is the only thing on their Christmas list.
I know come Christmas Day I will be fussing over them and making sure they are say nicely and not neglected

He is very cute. I got one for ds age 14, he'll either love it or think I've gone mad. He's watched every episode of the Mandalorian so far so it's not a completely random purchase. I got the animatronic one from amazon for £25. No idea how good that one is, there seems to be lots of choice

I have one, and toothless (I queued for an hour with my daughter for him).

Luckily the DSs are big Star Wars / Mando fans so I had a perfect excuse to buy TWO Baby Yodas.

I got one for my birthday, I'm 51 and think Grogu is way cuter than any human baby I've ever seen.

DS is 8 months old and into everything. Crawling everywhere, chewing everything he can get his hands on. Grinning adorably when he's caught doing stuff he's not supposed to do. We're calling him baby yoda

A bit late to this thread but.... after dithering for ages then all of them being out of stock near me, I have just managed to find one online!
I'm ridiculously happy that I will have my own baby yoda (might have to hide him from dd's!)
And sod my Dh who told me that I was too old to ask for a toy! 😂
