@SunniCameHomeWithAVengeance

Trumps speech reminded me of the time DD accidentally took double her dose of Ritalin.
😂😂

Was it double the dose, or an non-zero dose? Quite a bigly mistake. 😉

Saw on Twitter that state pays if the margin is .25% but above that the candidate or party pays. That tweet suggests then that Trump would have to pay.

BruceAndNosh · 06/11/2020 09:19

Why are people ignoring Arizona? Despite being called days ago, it's still live there

SinisterBumFacedCat · 06/11/2020 09:19

Marking my place to keep up with all the supreme bonkerness going on.

JamieLeeCurtains · 06/11/2020 09:20

I read that the recount margin is 0.5%. That's paid for by the state.

Anything above that, the challenging candidate pays.

WindFlower92 · 06/11/2020 09:21

Thanks @CherryValanc, I didn't see that North Carolina were still to go aswell!

It was called too early. Trump still has a chance of winning - unlikely but possible.

I’m seeing reports that Georgia just flipped by 900 odd to Biden

RedToothBrush · 06/11/2020 09:24

Biden 917 ahead in Georgia.

Its 1% in Georgia I think. (each state is helpfully different).

Its doubtful the result will be outside that margin.

Newjobnewslob · 06/11/2020 09:27

Does anyone have a link to the CNN trump rant?

JamieLeeCurtains · 06/11/2020 09:27

3 hours ago:
Arizona (EV: 11)

Total Votes: Biden leads with 1,532,062 votes, Trump trails with 1,485,010 votes.

SabrinaThwaite · 06/11/2020 09:27

Recount rules for Georgia:

No automatic recount.

Candidate can request a recount if the result is within 0.5% of the total number of votes cast.

Request to be made within 2 days of state certification of result (November 13th).

State law does not specify who pays (but likely to be the state).

Arizona has only been called by AP and Fox. Everyone else says its live.

From what I've seen the numbers are narrowing but still ok for Biden despite that. Trump isn't making enough of a gain, but it does depend on how many ballots there are.

EveryoneRevealsThemselves · 06/11/2020 09:29

Morning everyone.

So that’s about 3 hours of bad sleep for the 3rd night in a row. Anyone else not functioning well today?

Marmite27 · 06/11/2020 09:31

Biden’s gone ahead in Georgia by 917 votes!

I can't stop following. I start a run of night shifts tonight so really need to sleep today but it all feels so close. Couldn't sleep if I tried now.

Cool.

I actually don't think it makes much of a difference if its 0.5 or 1% anyway. 0.5% is around 25,000 votes by my fag packet calculations. The margin can't be that big as there aren't that many votes left.

SwimmingOnEggshells · 06/11/2020 09:32

Georgia just turned BLUE. Woo 💙

lifesabitchandthenyoudie · 06/11/2020 09:32
