US Elections - Trump or Biden, who will win?

Intrigued to see who everyone thinks will win the current US presidential elections? I wouldn't personally vote for Trump, but I think he will manage to win another term. What do you think?

A hell of a lot of people are voting for Trump in the US, and they can’t be all idiots. And they’re the people who are living under his presidency. It looks like Biden will win, just. But it’s not over yet.

@Livelovebehappy they are clearly misinformed though as anyone with a modicum of intelligence who can correctly weigh up his presidency sees that he has been an absolutely awful president on all fronts.

They're taking a long time over the count this year. Was hoping to wake up to news that Trump was out, but it looks as though it's still hanging in the balance.

whitecottoncandy that’s a rather patronising and generalised statement though to say so many people are ‘mis-informed’. Biden has run a terrible campaign. The presidency was there for the taking, and Biden just didn’t put in the effort in the run up to the election. And if he didn’t put the effort in then, is he going to put the effort into leading the country? Can anyone on this thread, hand on heart, say that they think Biden is presidential material?

@Livelovebehappy It is not misinformed. Trump has had a terrible presidency. Based on actual facts about the economy, foreign policy and disruption in the US. Anyone who voted for a dreadful presidency to continue is misinformed or stupid I suppose.

I think Biden will win, very narrowly, but I’m really afraid that it’s going to be decided in the courts.

I would vote for my cat over Trump. I think it will be mid to late afternoon today before there's a clearer picture as to who has won. Trump's announcement was god awful. He's desperate and trying to manipulate a democratic process. He deserves to lose for that alone.

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz - each state has different rules on counting the postal votes. It's not as straightforward as saying they are only counting in person votes at the moment as it differs from state to state is my understanding. CNN's election coverage is very good at giving a clear picture as to what is happening where and which counties in each state are key.

It's really not the same. Not at all. Trump is a liar, cheat and is responsible for excess Covid deaths. Don't see how anything Biden's done even compares.

Boden will at least behave like a president and listen to advice. He may not be very dynamic, but he's an experienced politician and a safe pair of hands. If Biden wins and Trump carries on in the vein he's started, I can see Trump ending up in prison.
