Stay at home Protect the NHS Save Lives. Again

2nd full lockdown starting Thursday until December 2nd. Not as restrictive as 1st lockdown. Non essential shops & restaurants etc to close. Educational settings are open.

What's expected to be announced:

The measures take place from Thursday

1. All pubs and restaurants to close, though takeaways & and deliveries will be permitted still

2. All non-essential retail to close, though supermarkets won't have to follow the Welsh example of fencing off non-essential goods

3. There will be no mixing of people inside homes, except for childcare and other forms of support

4. Outbound international travel will be banned, except for work

5. Travel within the UK will be discouraged, except for work

6. Overnight stays away from home will be allowed only for work purposes

7. Courts, schools, and universities will remain open.

8. Outdoor exercise and recreation will be encouraged.

9. Private prayer will continue in places of worship, but not services

They didn't say. And I think really as the spread outside has been low it probably won't be an issue. Or enforceable anyway

Leisure has to close down, so upsetting....
Nottingham (just gone into Tier 3) had negotiated to keep their ice rink open. Suppose now it will close, a real shame.
