I’m watching CNN. I don’t think the race is over. Biden may win North Carolina.

North Carolina now looking unlikely for Biden but still hope for Biden in Ohio and Arizona. If Biden wins any 1 of those 3 then he still has a good chance of winning overall.

What IS the point of panhandles? The Oklahoma one is infuriating to look at.

See, I'm rather fond of the Oklahoma panhandle because it means when you drive fromTexas to Colorado you get a 'bonus' state in without having to go out of your way.

The Florida panhandle can fuck right off though. It's basically just a hurricane-catcher that's stolen Alabama's coastline.

Why is everyone saying Trump will win? What channels are you watching? He's currently ahead in Ohio, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Florida was always going to be tight.

I keep reminding myself that the worst that happens in this election is the status quo. Yes he might get worse, but the world has experienced it for 4 years and (as an economist) it’s not been as bad as I anticipated In 2016.

What’s stressing me out is the hope. It’s been so long since something I really wanted to happen has happened and I am dreading my hope being dashed yet again

Some only accept AP calls, others will tally calls from other outlets

For light relief... If you can bear to go on Trump's twitter feed, watch his VOTE VOTE Vote pinned tweet featuring him "dancing" but with the sound off. Then imagine he's holding a long length of dental floss. Or a bath towel.

Can't watch, but fearing the worst. 2020 is dire.

It's just nerve-racking. I have to keep reminding myself that 'calling' isn't an official 'result' and that there are still states that haven't counted their mail in/absentee ballots.

My own state's polls don't close for another 1 1/4 hrs. We have 55 total electoral votes.

On the west coast here... Trying not to get my hopes up but please... Come on Texas!! That would be an amazing win for Biden.
