If Biden was infected, it may be too early for a positive test. He'll need to be tested again in a few days to be sure. But it is likely that he is tested regularly anyway.

With Boris Johnson we were initially fed the 'fake' news that he wasn't too ill and was continuing to work whilst quarantined in no.10, then he was rushed to hospital but was apparently still working and reading his red boxes. Next we knew, BJ was being measured for a ventilator... so it will be interesting to see how far the WH go with Trump's "mild symptoms".

(But I do actually believe BJ had the virus)

Opinion on CNN is this is sign of concern about Trump as the Regeneron trial currently only includes 275 people with average age of 45. They hope the antibody treatment will reduce and shorten the severity of any symptoms.

It's such a horrible disease that I wouldn't wish on anybody. It's all very concerning. If he were to die in office he would be made into some kind of martyr by his base.

On the plus side if more senitors and staffers are quarantining or are off ill this might delay any hearings and votes on the supreme court justice.

God, that hadn't occurred to me.

I'd assumed he'd get the best medical treatment in the world. But in the last few months he's surrounded himself with yes-doctors to reflect his own "medical" beliefs.

If he pulls a Steve Jobs and goes with his own ideas, Trump could end up seriously ill or dead. Maybe from the "treatment" rather than Covid.

Erm, would on earth would that look like politically? I'm struggling to imagine. Obviously because nothing's ever his fault, to his disciples it wouldn't be his fault. But would be someone else's fault. That could get ugly.
