There's a group of very vocal people on Twitter/FB who bully people into bending to their version of reality. When I speak to people irl about this sort of thing, we're of a different opinion than Twitter mafia would have you believe.

I find the whole thing pretty amusing, yet disturbing.

I find it all quite sad really. There are lots of very advantaged women out there who seem to believe that they speak for the entire of womanhood in centring men’s desires in feminism in the name of inclusivity.

I do wish they would take a good hard look at the lofty position they stand on to preach this horse shit.

There is a whole generation of women who have been gaslit into thinking prostitution is an empowering choice for most people that do it. Wrong and wrong again.

In my opinion, people can do whatever they want to as long as it doesn't impact or hurt others. When trans women can partake in female sport, take positions that are female only, or be allowed into female prisons when they are fully-male sexual offenders, then we have a big problem.

Most people I know are pretty liberal with a live and let live Outlook But I haven’t met one person in real life who thinks that you can change sex but the internet is full of them.
And it seems a case of those who shout loudest are taken as the majority when the majority is actually pretty silent on the issue.

The majority is oblivious. Just before the lockdown, a man walked into the local supermarket wearing a flashy outfit, bad wig and huge fake tits. People were staring and giggling. Nobody would have bought him to be a woman.

Aye, and they wrongly try and bring intersex people into their argument without any care of how offensive that is. In real life, people are very much live and let live as far as I know. I don’t use twitter as quite frankly I think it is a pit of human excrement and the world would be a better place if it ceased to exist.

I have met people in real life who think humans can change sex.

But their definition of the word sex is different to mine. And I think that's where the problem lies. We need clear meanings in order to be able to discuss issues.

The attempts to change the meaning of the word woman and make it 'transphobic' is just another way to silence debate.

Social media is an echo chamber. Anyone with dissenting views is immediately labelled as a bigot, roundly demonised and blocked. Consequently what's left is a group of people who have zero exposure to anything other than their view of the world.

Then when they actually interact with people outside of social media, they are shocked and horrified that other people don't agree with them.

If you stood on the average high street on a Saturday afternoon and canvassed 500 people on whether women have penises, and men have vaginas, I suspect the majority of respondents would give views that would be classed as 'bigoted' by social media standards.

Yes that's true but it's still frightening how it gains traction. It might not cut the ice with the queue in the supermarket but if a female employee objected to a male-bodied employee who identifies as a woman using the same changing room I'm not confident that the retailer would defend the rights of the female.

I haven’t heard of this woman but she popped up on my YouTube recommendations and I was interested enough to watch some of her videos. This one is mind boggling in the fact people really think that lesbian sex can involve a penis.

Should also point out that the woman doing the video is in fact a lesbian and she doesn’t buy into men with penises being lesbian.
