Scrotus (excuse me....the LONE WARRIOR!!! 🤮) is just constitutionally unable to admit fault nor accept blame of any kind and is unable to say that he's not 'the best' at anything. He simply can't do it. And he's equally unable to make up even 'minimally reasonable' excuses. All he can do is bluster, lie, and point fingers in another direction and deny, deny, deny even in the face of video evidence. It will (hopefully) play a huge part of his coming downfall.

Gov Newsom has announced a 3 week 'rollback' in 19 counties here (mine is not one of them). I'm glad, but honestly, he needs to announce a complete lockdown (again) of ALL counties for 3 weeks then start measured reopening. The problem with what he's doing is that people in the affected counties will simply travel a few miles down the freeway to the 'non-rollbacked' counties to do the things they're not permitted to do 'at home'. Thereby spreading the virus outwards.

We actually need a complete lockdown of the contiguous 48 states, even those that are not 'badly affected'. People just travel too easily and will go to bordering states to do what they can't just like they're going to do here. But we have no chance of that happening until January 2021 at the earliest. God knows how many deaths there will be before then.

Lone warrior sounds a bit too much like lone wolf to me, anyway he should be seeing himself as part of a team not as a lone warrior
he is constitutionally unable to work with other people, a leader needs to be good with people as far as he's concerned other people aren't even people😳

This is the new Trump 2020 logo. Doesn’t have advisors that know how to research - even a tiny bit? Like, “Just make sure it doesn’t look similar to any Nazi-looking shit, Ed,” you know. It’s not hard! But apparently for the Trump campaign, it is. (The following images are 100% real.)

Far-Right Trump sycophant Charlie Kirk, often retweeted by Trump, lays it all out in this tweet. Never mind that that the US is still in a massive first wave and leading the world in infections and deaths by a tsunami.

No more lockdowns. Open America fully NOW. Take responsibility for your life. Make good choices. These authoritarians in both parties need to step aside. Liberty!

BruceAndNosh · 02/07/2020 04:55

I'm not convinced that Eagle logo is "official"

Suddenly Trump is "All for masks" and thinks they make him look like The Lone Ranger (as opposed to the Lone Warrior)
www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-53258792

However masks and social distancing will still not be required during his visit to Mt Rushmore tomorrow

BruceAndNosh · 02/07/2020 06:59

Bless him, he can't even get the details of a fictional American hero right

edition.cnn.com/2020/07/01/politics/trump-intel-briefings-russia/index.html

Toddler-in-chief

Early in his term, Trump's briefers discovered that when his oral briefing included intelligence related to Russia's malign activities against the United States, including evidence of its interference in US politics, Trump would often blow up at them, demanding to know why they kept focusing on Russia and often questioning the intelligence itself, multiple former administration officials said.
"The President has created an environment that dissuades, if not prohibits, the mentioning of any intelligence that isn't favorable to Russia," a former senior member of Trump's national security staff told me.

Roussette · 02/07/2020 09:57

Gosh
www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/threats-trump-really-most-informed-person-earth-n1232636?cid=sm_npd_ms_tw_ma

The president veers off on tangents and getting him back on topic is difficult, they said. He has a short attention span and rarely, if ever, reads intelligence reports, relying instead on conservative media and his friends for information. He is unashamed to interrupt intelligence officers and riff based on tips or gossip.... Mr. Trump rarely absorbs information that he disagrees with or that runs counter to his worldview, the officials said. Briefing him has been so great a challenge compared with his predecessors that the intelligence agencies have hired outside consultants to study how better to present information to him.

It's an extraordinary revelation to consider: the sitting American president, in a time of multiple and dangerous crises, is so resistant to learning about security threats that his own country's intelligence officials have sought outside help to figure out how to get him to listen and focus.

Shock

have sought outside help to figure out how to get him to listen and focus.

Sounds like my primary school report. Thanks to you all for this thread, am finding it compulsive reading, so maybe I'm one step ahead of POTUS after all.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 02/07/2020 12:46

McNinny is probably right: he probably is the most informed person on earth about security threats top the USA. He is informed of every single one of them, whereas the people informing him may not know each about all the others, and the people doing the threatening may well know only about their own particular threat.

That he is informed does not mean that he pays a blind bit of attention to the information, though.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 02/07/2020 12:47

to the USA, not "top". I need a keyboard with slightly wider spacing.

B1rdbra1n · 02/07/2020 12:53

Trump is well informed in the way that the horse which is lead to water but does not drink is well hydrated
