'The Palestinians' won't recognise Israel? That ignorant statement highlights your real agenda - that 'The Palestinians' are all of like mind with Hamas so are 'all terrorists' and not to be trusted in your eyes.

Hamas have NOT refused to negotiate with Israel, they have set conditions for negotiations, as have Israel. Conditions set by both sides usually prevent negotiations as the other side won't accept them.

Israel is in breach of International Law and UN resolutions in it's treatment of Palestine and constantly blocks attempts by Palestine to be recognised as a state in it's own right - i.e. they want to deny the right of Palestine to exist.

Oh, and i'm not a fan of Riley.

The Palestinians won't recognise Israel. Correct. Their elected representatives Hamas state in their charter that they will drive Israel into the sea. Hamas are elected with a huge majority. Google is your friend. If you don't know about this, look it up.

As long as there is Palestinian terrorism then of course Israel won't want a Palestinian state to exist. An Islamist state armed by its wealthy neighbours on Israel's doorstep and you see nothing wrong with this? Yes how dare those terrible Israelis object to this. Being a Zionist doesn’t mean you agree with Israeli government policy at any given time or have any particular position on a two state solution or self determination for the Palestinians. It simply means you believe in Israel’s right to exist.

You dropped your facade of pretending it was all about Hamas to talk about 'The Palestinians' - so the whole of the Palestinian population then ? Just an amorphous bunch of terrorists in your eyes, which is exactly how they are treated by the Israeli Gov. Your pitiful threadbare arguments clearly demonstrate the narrow thinking that has allowed this tragic situation to continue for so many generations, destroy lives and hopes and encourage terrorist acts around the world.

No one who listens to your kind of talk would ever have hope of a solution because according to you it's all about how Israel is blameless and has to defend itself from 'The Palestinians' despite the fact that Israel is a military superpower backed up by the USA and Palestine can't even get recognised by a state in its own right - and that's because Israel wants to deny Palestine's right to exist.

So say someone comes along to the country you live in and say, "This is historically my land, get out of your home, leave your farm and if you all do what we say we will let you have a state of your own. Obviously you can't have your home and farm back if it is in "our" state and we aren't going to give you any compensation as we think we are right." Who would be cool with that? As an example for anyone in the US are you happy to hand the keys of your house to someone who is descended from natives of the area? Or Australians?

Well put. This argument that Palestinians are ethnically Syrian and the implication they should go live there is offensive.

To pretend that the creation of Israel has not harmed Palestinians is utterly bizarre. To feel uncomfortable with the displacement and disenfranchisenent of Palestinian people does not make you an anti Semitic Hamas supporter. Such a polarised view will never achieve peace.

And yes there are plenty worse places in the middle East than Israel. But nobody calls you Islamophobic for having misgivings about Saudi Arabia etc.
