Just that really. Either a totally off topic question, a hilarious response or just something that made you laugh.

For me it was someone who had posted about her office chair frequently appearing damp and smelling of pee and someone just responded “woah we’re halfway there”.

Oh god yes, that Easter bonnet thread... I'd like to find that again

RainMustFall · 05/05/2020 01:03

Easter bonnet was one of my favourites: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mumsnet_classics/937597-Sinister-Easter-bonnet There;s a photograph further in the thread Grin

AhhSalmonSkinRoll · 05/05/2020 01:11

A thread one Christmas titled something like "AIBU to give my mother in law a big veiny cock for Christmas"

The OP included pics of her big, red, homemade candles that hadn't set right and theh literally looked like big, wonky boners!

There were some fabulous suggestions to describe them but the best by far was simply:

"Wankee Candles!"

ladymary86 · 05/05/2020 01:14

What was the Hugo thread?? Is there a link?

KenAdams · 05/05/2020 01:18

Not RTFT but so many responses on the Twatted a spider to death thread were hilarious.

managedmis · 05/05/2020 01:23

Link on page 2 or 3, Ladymary, to Hugo thread

cstaff · 05/05/2020 01:34

Hugo is at 03 05 2020 13.17 and is absolutely hilarious. I was crying reading it earlier Grin

Thelnebriati · 05/05/2020 01:51

I'd forgotten Wankee Candles!

Sorry, can't read whole thread just now, just wanted to remind anyone who was around at the time of BupcakesandCunting punching the really annoying PTA woman's lemonfuckingdrizzlecake .

We need a 'forza' emoji please.

ddl1 · 05/05/2020 03:43

'Why don't you stop being such a huge cunt? ... etc.'

This reminds me of someone on a different (political discussion) forum quite a few years ago now, who told someone who disagreed with him on something: 'The world would be a better place if you read Sun Tzu and stopped being such a beta male cunt'.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 05/05/2020 04:32

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3898995-Sperm-leakage-after-sex-Experiences a new thread and the comments are already making me laugh, “weapons grade penis” and “Bermuda Triangle” 😂

WitchWife · 05/05/2020 09:05

Can’t remember what thread it was on. This poster and her kid were out and about (doctor’s surgery?) and the son wouldn’t behave and was kicking up a fuss about leaving. She meant to say apologetically “he’s a whiny little tinker” but instead told everyone “he’s a tiny wanker”.

WitchWife · 05/05/2020 09:06

Or was it “come on, you tiny wanker”?

Oneearringlost · 05/05/2020 09:25

That Easter Bonnet was v funny.
It reminds me of when we had to create a funny or witty creation using an egg for Easter.
So you get a shoe box on it's side and " create a scene".
The 1st year I did "Resurreggtion...egg emerging from cave with halo on head.
It got into the local newsagents window with a couple other winners...But just because it was the vicar who judged them.
The next year I wanted to do "Indecent Eggsposure". I had it all planned put, an egg with some brown paper bag round it, a Leafy background and some swings.
But it was too hard to do. So we did Chancellor of the Eggchequer which was more boring. I really got caught up in the " Create a scene"

MarthasGinYard · 05/05/2020 09:29

Someone once asked ....what should We wear to a swingers club?

Reply 'tracksuits fashioned from pampas grass'

Still makes me chuckle

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 05/05/2020 09:47

Currently on the How many kids do you want thread.
"None, the kids are taking it pretty bad" Grin

aliasname · 05/05/2020 10:46

I'm just reading the Easter bonnet one and already snorting with laughter

An Easter bonnet is to celebrate the joy of spring not to embrace the horror of nature

aliasname · 05/05/2020 10:55

Btw I could no longer see the photo on the thread, but if you google 'Sinister Easter Bonnet' it's the first image that comes up. Its obviously famous.

Katinski · 05/05/2020 10:56

Oh yes, the Easter Bonnet one with the salivating fox. Glorious!

LaurieMarlow · 05/05/2020 11:01

Jesus, it’s terrifying. Grin

I read a bit of the thread and thought, ‘probably not that obvious what’s going on’, but seeing that fox, he clearly cannot wait to maul those little chicks to death Blush

HaudMaDug · 05/05/2020 11:35

On a Inlaws thread yesterday this response had me chuckling all day: 'More batshit than Dracula's shed.' Grin

Pinkarsedfly · 05/05/2020 11:57

The line that makes me snort on Sinister Easter Bonnet goes something like, ‘The chick on the left knows all he has to do is outrun the one on the right. What a little bastard he is.’

antisupermum · 05/05/2020 12:30

I havent RTFT, so apologies if its been mentioned already, but the vintage thread of the dinner party with the quirky neighbours, and her husband whapping out a bowl of Pom Bears really made me chuckle!

WitchWife · 05/05/2020 12:37

@Pinkarsedfly - thank you! that's what I was trying to remember!!! PMSL every time.
