AIBU? Neighbours demanding money for McDonald’s

We live in quite a small but nice street, mainly detached with decent sized gardens. We have a whatsapp group that the whole street is on, barring one family LOL. But we won’t talk about them.

Anyway, DH is the one who reads the group most often and has now got into a massive fight with the neighbours over a group-buy of McDonalds food next week.

It was one of the very few things autistic ds would eat (as in the whole of his diet) He does eat the fish fingers though from there despite not eating them anywhere else. He won't eat the fries at all.

DH is a local food delivery driver (picks up from bars, shops, restaurants etc & delivers to the door). He delivered 42 ice cream sundaes to a street with a WhatsApp group last week. Good job it wasn't far from the whippy van!
