Dh constantly tells me I have big feet for a woman.

I’m a size 8 and 5ft9.

What size are you?

OP posts:
ACupOfTeaSolvesEverything · 29/01/2020 14:21

Size 8, 5 ft 7. We are the big foot family according to my DS. My husband is an 11 (6ft) and my average height 8 year old is a size 5

MinkowskisButterfly · 29/01/2020 14:22

Size 7 and I'm 5'6. I do have shockingly wide feet though so I am very, very limited and often size up to an 8 in wide fit.

Dd1 is 5'10 and size 8

acatcalledjohn · 29/01/2020 15:11

Size 8 in most places (7.5 in clarks and converse, 8-8.5 in most running trainers) and 5'10".

Perfectly in proportion for your height. I know someone who is 5'3" with size 8 feet. Now that is big.

Last time I got fitted for running shoes I found that most of those are becoming smaller and I now fit in very few size 8 running shoes. It's really annoying.

PickAChew · 29/01/2020 15:14

Measure 5EEE. In reality, I wear a 6 because despite needing comfortable and supportive shoes for my wide feet with fallen arches, I'm not ready for the beige leather just yet. I'm 5'4 at last official measurement. Sister is the same height as me and wears an 8.

DramaAlpaca · 29/01/2020 15:23

I'm 5'10 and wear a 7.5 or an 8, depending on style.

slapmyarseandcallmemary · 29/01/2020 15:25

Size 7, 5ft 6.5

HelloDulling · 29/01/2020 15:26

You are significantly taller than average. If you didn’t also have larger than average feet, you’d fall over.

acatcalledjohn · 29/01/2020 15:36

Bloody hell @DramaAlpaca . Are you me?

Wink
IHadADreamWhichWasNotAllADream · 29/01/2020 15:40

You really don’t need to ask us OP. A five minute google on any shoe website will tell you that 8 is the largest “mainstream” UK women’s size. Almost all styles are offered in sizes 4-8, but only a minority in size 9 or above. Hence your feet are objectively at the top end of normal - “big” but not huge.

DramaAlpaca · 29/01/2020 15:40

@acatcalledjohn well, we certainly have matching feet. Are your feet flat with long toes, too? Grin

caperplips · 29/01/2020 15:47

I am 5ft 9" and size 5.5 but sometimes have to buy a 6 and put an insole in if the shoe doesn't come in half sizes

snotthatfurrry · 29/01/2020 15:51

5ft 7. Size 5. My ex was size 7 and said I had big feet. Inferiority complex

caperplips · 29/01/2020 15:52

My 6ft 2" husband is size 10 and 14 year old dd is a size 5 and above average height for her age

SmellMySmellbow · 29/01/2020 15:52

5'3" and a 3.5 - 4.

Thistimetomorrow · 29/01/2020 15:53

Size 2 in shoes.
3 in boots
5’ 1”

BlueEyedFloozy · 29/01/2020 15:56

I'm 5'3 and a size 8 EE wide fit.

My Mum likes to tell me I don't feet, I have flippers 🙄🤣

nonsensicalmess · 29/01/2020 15:56

5 ft 4 and size 3-4.

jayde28 · 29/01/2020 16:01

5foot 5 and size 2.5

Whatisthisfuckery · 29/01/2020 16:02

Size 5 normally, but depending on the shoe I can range from 4 to 5.5. I’m 5 ft 2.

acatcalledjohn · 29/01/2020 16:05

Fairly long toes, and yes, I'd describe my feet as flat given the slightly inward facing knees...

acatcalledjohn · 29/01/2020 16:05

That was at @DramaAlpaca

MissingLinker · 29/01/2020 16:10

5'5" and size 2. But I gather that's pretty unusual.

liferr · 29/01/2020 16:19

5ft 4 - size 6

BrimfulofSasha · 29/01/2020 16:20

I'm 5 foot 7 and a size 5-6
My 10yo DD is 5 foot and a size 5-6

Xanadu58 · 29/01/2020 16:24
