Dh constantly tells me I have big feet for a woman.

I’m a size 8 and 5ft9.

What size are you?

OP posts:
NightsOfCabiria · 29/01/2020 16:25

5'6 and a half inches tall and take size 7 shoes. Sometimes, I look at my feet and think they're enormous, as I have thin legs too.

Aragog · 29/01/2020 16:26

5'1" (just!) and I am just a 3. In some shoes I could do with a 2.5 tbh.

Fuggly · 29/01/2020 16:26

5 foot 7 inches and a size 7.5 / 41 depending.

My DP is 5 foot 10 and takes size 8.

I keep joking he has very small feet! He says mine are too big. All lighthearted before anyone gets worried!

undead · 29/01/2020 16:27

I am 5ft7 and my shoe size is 7. I would prefer size 6.

Lolwhat · 29/01/2020 16:28

5’8 and 6

Franticbutterfly · 29/01/2020 16:29

5

Showmeyourhero · 29/01/2020 16:30

5'8" and a size 6.5

Franticbutterfly · 29/01/2020 16:32

Forgot to say 5’ 5”

ShinyGiratina · 29/01/2020 16:40

Big Foots the lot of you! Grin

At 5'2 I'm the proud owner of size 1 flip flops and my size 2 Birkenstocks have spare at the ends. At least due to width I can upsize into adult shoes and boots because children's ones are crap and designed to wear out in month, plus I weigh double the target age group which increases the speed of wear. I've always found children's a false economy even after the VAT is considered.

DH is size 11/12 and his footwear is like canoes compared to mine and the DC's (both jnr 12 at 9 & 6)

I don't know why I'm so small as similar height relatives made it to the usual 4-5 for our height.

Choosername · 29/01/2020 16:43

5ft4
Used to be size 6 up until 1.5 years ago.
Now I’m size 6.5/7 depending on which make/shop.

Liverbird77 · 29/01/2020 16:45

5'11", size 6-7.
I have big hands though, despite having small feet

NothingTraLaLa · 29/01/2020 16:54

2.5 and 5' 0". I used to be a 3, but vanity sizing seems to have hit shoes as well as clothes, which has made things rather awkward for me.

Geekster1963 · 29/01/2020 16:55

4ft 11 size 3

Likefootball · 29/01/2020 16:58

Female feet are lovely regardless of size

FuzzyPuffling · 29/01/2020 16:59

5'8" and size 8 (42)

ALongHardWinter · 29/01/2020 17:01

OP,my Dd is 5 ft 9.5 and takes a size 9! I think shoe size is very much related to height. I would think it a bit odd if a woman of nearly 5 ft 10 only had size 5 feet! Thankfully, shoe manufacturers have finally woken up to the fact that not all women take a size 7 or less. She used to struggle to get decent shoes in her size up until about 10 years ago.

kingkuta · 29/01/2020 17:27

5ft 6 Size 4
I thought the uk average was a 5?
Mumsnetters seem to have really big feet Grin

Choosername · 29/01/2020 17:34

Female feet are lovely regardless of size

Hmm
ratspeaker · 29/01/2020 17:39

5ft 4 size 5
OneDD is 5 ft 8 and size 8
The other is 5 ft 2 and size 6

SterlingViolet · 29/01/2020 17:39

@Baaaahhhhh - "Errr.... no, because my ankles and legs are slight as well......"

Errr.... yes, because you didn't understand what I was saying.....

So, then in your case, your ankles and legs would look even scrawnier, if you also had large feet!

firesong · 29/01/2020 17:40

Size 5 and 5'5"
Your feet sound in proportion

firesong · 29/01/2020 17:40

However I have really long fingers and my ex called me "Man Hands".

CaptainPovey · 29/01/2020 17:45

5ft 6, size 5. Buy kids trainers - half price and sometimes less

Happy days!!

ThePolishWombat · 29/01/2020 17:47

Size 4.
Which is really handy because my mum and sister are also the same size! So someone will always have a pair of shoes to go with whatever outfit Grin We raid eachothers wardrobes for shoes on the regular!

LemonPrism · 29/01/2020 18:04

I wear a 4 but am a 3.5 when I can get them. 5'4.
