Dh constantly tells me I have big feet for a woman.

I’m a size 8 and 5ft9.

What size are you?

OP posts:
latheritup · 29/01/2020 10:10

Size 7 and 5ft8

RoLaren · 29/01/2020 10:11

Size 8 and 5'6"

Mypathtriedtokillme · 29/01/2020 10:13

5’11” with size 42.5 so 8/9 uk?
11/12 Australian.

PumpkinP · 29/01/2020 10:14

Ofcourse it’s big. Most shoe shops only go up to an 8, some 9 but most I’ve seen go up to 8 on the high street. I’m an 8 and only 5 ft 3 and yes my feet are massive! It’s been commented on before aswell.

sugarbum · 29/01/2020 10:15

I'm 5ft 4.5 and size 7
My DS1 is 12 and he is 5ft 9 and a size 10 (he takes after my dad who was 6ft 4 and size 12 feet)
My DS2 is 10 and he is 5ft 1 and a size 6
My DH is 5ft 11 and a size 9.5

It has so much to do with genetics. And so much to do with the random also :) I certainly would not think you have 'big feet' when you are 5ft 9. If you were 5ft tall I would possibly think they were a bit disproportionate, but if they keep you upright and moving like feet are supposed to, who gives a shit :)

PumpkinP · 29/01/2020 10:15

I always wish I had smaller feet like 5 or 6.

InOtterNews · 29/01/2020 10:16

Size 8, I'm 5' 11"

LostInTheColonies · 29/01/2020 10:18

8.5 or 9; I'm 5'8". Dd (10) is already in sz 6. Whole family has ginormous hoofers.

I now shop in a shop that only stocks sz 8 and up 😁

Normal shoe shops: "I'm sorry - the demand is so great, and we get so few pairs in. No 8s left". Same line for as long as I can remember. So frustrating!

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 29/01/2020 10:19

I'm 5' 7" and a size 6.

SidneyPrescott · 29/01/2020 10:19

I'm 5'3 and size 5 - which feels big compared to my height after reading this thread.

wanderwonderwanderwonder · 29/01/2020 10:21

5'5'' and a size 3.5/4 - I think this is small though, most of my friends have much larger feet and are not much taller than me

NearLifeExperience · 29/01/2020 10:23

I’m 5’8 and size 7

DD1 is 5’10 and only a 5.5!
DD 2 is 5’7 and a 7/8
DD 3 is 5’7 and has been size 8 since about 11. She’s still only 13, so I'm hoping her feet don’t grow any more!

Iheardit · 29/01/2020 10:24

Size 3.5-4 And 5ft 3

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 29/01/2020 10:25

5 foot 3 and size 6.

DD is 5 foot 1 and size 5.

Straycatstrut · 29/01/2020 10:29

I get this too! I always seem to be the largest option but my feet don't look big to me at all.

I'm 5'2 and size 7.

Ex used to tell me I had really nice feet and toes! (I never got the foot fetish thing!) good to have something going for me I suppose! Grin

Serenschintte · 29/01/2020 10:30

Also 5,8 and a size 8, well nearly 9 to be honest.

rottiemum88 · 29/01/2020 10:32

5 ft 4 - Size 4/4.5

substitutingsleepwithcaffeinee · 29/01/2020 10:33

5ft 9 and size 10 feet but squeeze into women's size 9 as I don't have the money to pay £50 a pair of shoes for having giant feet.

SterlingViolet · 29/01/2020 10:34

5'5", size 6.5
I think smaller feet make women's legs look heavier, and larger feet make legs look more slender.
I have heavy legs - on the verge of cankles....
...it sucks.
But at least they're functional, and strong, hey ho.

Baaaahhhhh · 29/01/2020 10:38

5'5" and size 4.5.

DD's are both 5'3" and have size 3.5/4.
DH is 5'11" and has size 8.

We all seem to have small feet - I basically think it is because our bone structure is slight. Grandparents all on the smallish side too.

HaudMaDug · 29/01/2020 10:39

5'2" and size 3.5 to 4. I've got small feet but massive hands.

Helpinghim · 29/01/2020 10:40

I'm 5'5 and a size 6.

I never realised so many women had such big feet, I thought mine were huge!

Females in my family are 3, 4 and 5.

Baaaahhhhh · 29/01/2020 10:40

Errr.... no, because my ankles and legs are slight as well......when I have been in hospital recently, I had to have childrens stockings and pressure cuffs. Some people are just slight.

cochineal7 · 29/01/2020 10:41

Is he Trump with a little hands complex? There is a range of sizes and guess what: all are normal. I have two different size feet (half size) - apparently also quite common.

Montsti · 29/01/2020 10:43

I’m 5ft3 and wear a size 4 but I do have bunions 😱 so should be a 3.5...
