Dh constantly tells me I have big feet for a woman.

I’m a size 8 and 5ft9.

What size are you?

OP posts:
goodgodingovan · 29/01/2020 09:36

5"4 size 4 feet.

Fochit · 29/01/2020 09:37

5ft 10
Size 5

steff13 · 29/01/2020 09:37

I'm 5'8". I wear a US 12, which appears to be a UK 10.

Blacksackunderthetreesfreeze · 29/01/2020 09:37

This is surprising I thought every woman in Britain wore (like me) a size 6 judging by the meager offerings in most shoe sales

^^
But also this - 5 being the other most common size that you can never get in the sales!

Colinthedog · 29/01/2020 09:38

5”8 and size 6, and I think mine are on the small side. Although they are pretty wide Grin I’d say you’re are in proportion OP

Colinthedog · 29/01/2020 09:38

*yours are

sanityisamyth · 29/01/2020 09:39

5'7" and size 6 or 7 depending on style/width etc

goose1964 · 29/01/2020 09:40

Size 5 1/2 by usually have to get a 6 as so few places sell how sizes. I'm 5 foot 7. Before kids I was a 4 1/2.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 29/01/2020 09:41

I’m 5’ 6.5” & 6.5-7 depending on the brand & type of shoe.
Dh is 6’1” & size 11.
My Dad was 5’11” & a size 10 (which really annoyed Dh because he had some beautiful boots that Dh loved, it had been a running joke that he’d inherit them then just have to look at them).
My eldest dc(pretty much 10) is 5’4” and a size 4.5 to 5, I have bets on her being my height & wearing my shoes by the time she goes in to y6 in September.

SpamChaudFroid · 29/01/2020 09:41

5'8" size 7. They look to be in proportion.

steppemum · 29/01/2020 09:42

I am size 10
5'8"

Bigger than my husband (size 8) and smaller than my 17 year old son (size 13)

amusedbush · 29/01/2020 09:42

I'm 5' 5 and usually a 5, maybe a 6.

It's a pain in arse because I can never get nice shoes on sale - those sizes sell out first, leaving only 3's and 9's behind Grin

Iwant2move · 29/01/2020 09:42

5’ 10” and size 7.

Blingismything · 29/01/2020 09:44

5ft 7 size 4.5-5 I am amazed I don't topple over more often. Small hands also ring finger size J.

calpolatdawn · 29/01/2020 09:47

size 9 and 5"8.5

DeadButDelicious · 29/01/2020 09:48

5ft 4 and I have size 7-8 feet.

HowlsMovingBungalow · 29/01/2020 09:50

There are a few us short arses with hobbit like feets on this thread Grin.

DeadButDelicious · 29/01/2020 09:52

Come to think of it I'm the same height (maybe a smidge taller) as my mum and we have the same size feet, my dad takes an 11-12 and my brother is a size 10-11. DH has titchy size 7 feet, probably more like a 6.

SallyWD · 29/01/2020 09:53

5ft8 size 6

ColourMyDreams · 29/01/2020 09:54

I'm 4'11'' and a size 2, sometimes smaller depending on the style.
My adult daughters vary from 4'11 and 5'5" and vary from a size 2 to a size 5.

fantasmasgoria1 · 29/01/2020 09:56

5'8 and size 8 shoes.

TemptressJosepheen · 29/01/2020 10:05

Size 5 and 5'6" in my stockinged feet.

When my son had the same shoe size, at 12, his toes were much bigger than mine, especially his big toes!

And when his hands were the same size, his thumbs were much wider, bigger nail beds etc so two people can be the same size foot and their feet can be elegant or sturdy.

I can always tell a man's feet and hands. They're different.Even if, ostensibly they're the same size as a woman's.

TemptressJosepheen · 29/01/2020 10:08

My sister is about five foot nothing with size 3 feet. They're tiny and so endearing. Yet she hates to wear sandals as she says they're like crubeens. Grin

I think I have elegant feet at size 5.

aNonnyMouse1511 · 29/01/2020 10:08

Size 5. I’m only 5’4 though.

AryaStarkWolf · 29/01/2020 10:10

5'5" Size 5 or 6 depending on the shoe
