Rafflesway · 25/12/2019 13:38

Perhaps the OP is in Australia/New Zealand! Xmas Grin

foamrolling · 25/12/2019 13:39

It does all sound a bit joyless. Like you're going through the motions of doing the things you feel you should do at this time of year. Christmas presents - check. Boxing day sales - check. All to be got through efficiently. What bits of it do you enjoy?

AnneKipanki · 25/12/2019 13:39

Did you have decorations up at the end of November?

bigchris · 25/12/2019 13:40

choosing what to wear

For the sales ??

Fuck me , a new level of Batshit

bigchris · 25/12/2019 13:40

Send kids to grandma's to enjoy themselves

MarianaMoatedGrange · 25/12/2019 13:40

A wind up

coconuttelegraph · 25/12/2019 13:41

Do what you like, I assume you aren't being serious as I don't believe anyone sorts out their boxing day car park change on Christmas day

flirtygirl · 25/12/2019 13:41

I don't celebrate Xmas, but op is you are like this with Xmas, what are you like with sex? Is that an efficient use of time?

Petrichor11 · 25/12/2019 13:41

Christmas is what you make it, and you’re making it joyless

akittencalledjesus · 25/12/2019 13:42

Wow OP. You sound fun.

🎶 It's gonna be a cold cold Christmas at Oakenbeach 🎶

Fuck the sales tomorrow. I'd rather nurse a great big fucking hangover than hit the Boxing Day sales. And my hangovers aren't pretty...

Scarsthelot · 25/12/2019 13:43

Efficient? If you were efficient sales prep would already be done. I used to work in retail. Serious and efficient sales shoppers did their planning the last couple of days before Christmas.

You have a long way to go OP.

LaurieFairyCake · 25/12/2019 13:43

Worst thread I've ever read

There is literally no love 💔 SadSadSad

isseywith4vampirecats · 25/12/2019 13:44

blimey weve just opened our presents the beef is in the oven and starters ready to plate Christmas day is one day im going to enjoy the whole day and stuff the sales tomorrow what is so needed that you have to plan it like a military operation, your children wont look fondly back at Christmas in your house they will probably get older and escape as soon as possible, are you like this in every day life

Littlemeadow123 · 25/12/2019 13:45

Do you think that your original post makes you sound clever op?

LizB62A · 25/12/2019 13:46

If you dislike it that much, be more efficient like me.
I don't bother with Christmas decorations at all - much easier.

Prepping for the sales though? Surely you've got better things to do than going to the sales?!

IckyIsAFuckingStupidWord · 25/12/2019 13:46

You’ve “ripped” your Christmas decorations down on Christmas Day and are boasting christmas is over when it’s still only Christmas Day?

Yeh ok then.

sippingcoffee · 25/12/2019 13:47

Are you autistic ? The lovely lady I work with is always moving onto the next thing , never simply enjoys the present time , she's autistic

Titsywoo · 25/12/2019 13:48

Are you autistic?

Really?

maddiemookins16mum · 25/12/2019 13:48

Blimey. We’ve only just had our starter!!
The day is barely a quarter through here!
DMIL isn’t on her third sherry yet!!

Sweetpea55 · 25/12/2019 13:49

I wouldn't call it being 'efficient'. I'd call it Wierd

TheGinGenie · 25/12/2019 13:49

Hahahaha this isn't true surely?

maddiemookins16mum · 25/12/2019 13:50

Will you be outside NEXT at 6am?

ouch321 · 25/12/2019 13:51

Off topic a tad but...
Curious now...
What's on your itinerary tomorrow sales wise?
Are you planning to do all the Oxford St shops or a local shopping centre?
Any shops in particular?
Don't you find that the things you want to grab tomorrow you could probably buy online as most online sales have started?

Billben · 25/12/2019 13:51

Prepping for sales tomorrow.

Why do I find this pathetically sad.

VeryMerryChristmas · 25/12/2019 13:52

Sure.
