I realised as I was driving to work this morning, that prior to reading someone’s comment on MN about how it irritated them, I had never noticed people having their fog lights on unnecessarily. Now it registers every time I see it and it’s really bloody annoying!

What do you wish you could un-read?

Yeah pretty sure! When I’ve put mine to check all my lights are working they look the same

@GertrudeCB I take it this is something I shouldn’t google?

How can you not notice fog lights. That's the point of them, they are really bright and if they aren't needed it is really obvious.

Onescaredmuma · 19/12/2019 12:57

That someone had lost the game and now I've lost again it occupies far too much of my mind these days Grin

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 19/12/2019 13:00

@Onescaredmuma - 🤬

AudacityOfHope · 19/12/2019 13:01

I wish I'd never given any thought to self-ID and the trans debate because now I'm basically furious and scared on a regular basis.

weebarra · 19/12/2019 13:03

I know Audacity, but now we realise it's important to make other women feel that way too!

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 19/12/2019 13:04

Bad home situation threads/abusive men basically.
The threads where a guy basically set his little girl on fire and the mum had to nurse her back to health and was sorting through her feelings about this guy.

I am so glad women post about these kinds of things and get some different perspectives on what's acceptable but it does stay with me.

DanielRicciardosSmile · 19/12/2019 13:06

@Onescaredmuma we've had to call a temporary pause on the Game until January, as we keep losing Whamageddon and every time we do it reminds us of the Game and we lose that too.

AudacityOfHope · 19/12/2019 13:14

I know @weebarra it's just that I preferred my blissful ignorance Sad

MaggieFS · 19/12/2019 13:15

That penis beakers exist.

AudacityOfHope · 19/12/2019 13:15

That was the barbecue right? @SuperLoudPoppingAction

Those threads were very intense. I don't remember the last I saw, I hope they all managed to find their way through it all.

Lots of terrible things happening to women and girls. There was an atrocious one a couple of days ago.
Like pp, I am thankful that there is this space for people to get advice and support - I wouldn’t want it any other way.

NemophilistRebel · 19/12/2019 13:19

Blue waffle and dragon butter < applies brain bleach >-

Not heard dragon butter - can’t help but google it ...

NemophilistRebel · 19/12/2019 13:20

🤢

BlastEndedSkrewt · 19/12/2019 13:22

the one creepy story about the forest & the puppy brrr - the lovely woods near my house now scare me

Binterested · 19/12/2019 13:23

The mistrust and intolerance of loud sneezers. I am one and never gave it any thought till I saw the haterz on here.

Like pp I also kind of wish I didn’t know about TRAs and erasing women and claiming we are the oppressors for daring to have vaginas that the incels don’t have access to. It’s really damaged my mental health to be honest - carrying around my understanding of this issue and my awareness of the dangers to women and girls while the rest of the world appears only too ready to capitulate.

haverhill · 19/12/2019 13:23

Oh yes, Savernake Forest!! I’m sure it was completely made up but it was scary as hell.

WhoisitnowRalph · 19/12/2019 13:24

All the bloody D & V threads just before Christmas. I usually have to delete the app from mid-Dec to end of Jan, I can't bear reading about noro all the time and it triggers so much anxiety. I prefer ignorance and heavy handwashing.
