Coke (the drink) and then a fry up.

peachypetite · 14/12/2019 11:50

There’s no quick fix. Write the day off and have some food and a full fat coke.

easyandy101 · 14/12/2019 11:52

Beer

SimonJT · 14/12/2019 11:52

Rehydration sachet, banana, and small regular amounts of fluid.

TipseyTorvey · 14/12/2019 11:54

Berrocca in a pint of water, 2 ibuprofen, toast, egg and a banana. Never fails.

Jurassiclover · 14/12/2019 11:54

@peachypetite I feel like writing off the day might have to be done hahah!

Have another drink Xmas Wink

mrspotatohed · 14/12/2019 11:55

Lucozade sport and whatever food you can stomach, and a shower! I'm 8 months pregnant and would kill for a hangover 🤣

nevernotstruggling · 14/12/2019 11:56

Dioralyte seriously I won't drink without it. Hangovers are tiredness and dehydration dioralyte is just electrolytes. I take it before I go out when I get in and the next day

pangolina · 14/12/2019 11:56

Alka seltzer every time.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 14/12/2019 12:04

Lucozade sport, pain au radon and pellogrino limonata

FiveGoMadInDorset · 14/12/2019 12:04

Pain au raisin even

KrampusTime · 14/12/2019 12:07

Cheese on toast, kettle chips, and icy coke.

Saag aloo and dansak as soon as the curry house opens.

TheBucketResidence · 14/12/2019 12:09

McDonalds Big Mac meal with a full fat coke sorts me out every time
Dioralyte (or however you spell it) helps too

Likethebattle · 14/12/2019 12:10

Anything salty really helps. McDonald’s is great as it contains a full salt mine in every meal Grin

Singlebutmarried · 14/12/2019 12:11

2 McDonald’s cheeseburgers, large fries, extra salt and a fat coke.

Failing that, fried chicken.

Confusedbeetle · 14/12/2019 12:13

Eggs and sleep

HorridHamble · 14/12/2019 12:14

Berocca and diarolyte. Carbs and sugar. Ibuprofen and paracetamol (watch the doses). Lie down for a nap, if possible. Wake up and feel better. I always make sure I have a cup of tea or two so I don’t have a caffeine withdrawal headache on top (caffeine addict, occasional drinker).

Hope you had a great night and the hangover eases soon!

morriseysquif · 14/12/2019 12:14

Macaroni cheese, jelly babies, a banana. Red bull,

Prevent it by taking 6 fizzy vitamin c tablets, 3 in one pint, 3 in the other, drink both when you get home. Has to be just vitamin c, no zinc or anything else as the body just flushes out excess vitamin c.

AMAZING at preventing a hangover.

HopefullyAnonymous · 14/12/2019 12:15

Nothing works for me. I’m still hungover from my works do on Thursday night 😢

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 14/12/2019 12:16

Full fat coke as soon as you get up
(a glass before bed helps too.....well that's if you remember/are in a fit state)
Then a mug of very strong tea.
Then a glass of fizzy Vit C or Berocca/Energy Vits.
Finally toast with Dairylea & ham on it.
Oh & don't forget the painkillers.

OlaEliza · 14/12/2019 12:30

McDonald's or coke & toast with marmite

LostStars39 · 14/12/2019 12:30

Cheese and onion pasty from greggs and a summer fruits oasis!

Tucobenedicto · 14/12/2019 12:30
