The mother sent the photo to the local press. Not a party. From there it went viral. In the week before a GE it was bound to. And once it had gone viral pretty much every party was called on to comment about it - ignoring it would have looked ridiculous. But it didn't come from any party.

I thought/hoped we had seen the last of her.
