To think Katie Hopkins is vile

She posted this in response to the boy who was being treated for pneumonia on the floor. Disgusting to see how many people support her

OP posts:

They boy didn't have pneumonia. He had tonsillitis.

But that wouldn't have made such a good story, would it. Seems you didn't read past the headline.

Hopkins is vile but every so often she makes a valid point.

Her and Piers make a lot of valid points (only lumping them together as they both come in for huge amounts of criticism for being outspoken).

Katie Hopkins isn't exactly a 'nice' person but I admit to agreeing with her more than I disagree (same as Piers).

Their demeanours could use some work though!

BertrandRussell · 12/12/2019 11:36

“ Katie Hopkins isn't exactly a 'nice' person but I admit to agreeing with her more than I disagree ”

What do you agree with?

MmaMofasi · 12/12/2019 11:36

As a South African, I need to thump the man who came to her rescue after she overdosed on a horse drug. Vile vile creature.

Thelnebriati · 12/12/2019 11:39

The best way to respond is with humour. Laugh - at them, not with them.

She has to, otherwise no one would follow her. The right uses very general, simplistic ideas, that very few people can disagree with as a means of drawing people in. Hitler used national pride. No one can disagree with national pride right?

TinklyLittleLaugh · 12/12/2019 11:43

They boy didn't have pneumonia. He had tonsillitis.

He had suspected pneumonia didn’t he? But hey, if it was only tonsillitis, perfectly fine for the little kid to be lying on the hospital floor in the UK in the 21st century.

Bluewavescrashing · 12/12/2019 11:43

My mum teaches her children.

She is not popular around the school, needless to say.

LochJessMonster · 12/12/2019 11:44

@BertrandRussell to name a few, her views on obesity, SAHMs, extremism etc

'Would I employ you if you were obese? No I would not. You would give the wrong impression to the clients of my business. I need people to look energetic, professional and efficient. If you are obese you look lazy'
"To call yourself ‘plus size’ is just a euphemism for being fat'

'Full time mummy is not a job title. It is a biological status.'

'Glaswegian ebola patient moved to London's Royal Free Hospital. Not so independent when it matters most are we jocksville?'

AgeLikeWine · 12/12/2019 11:47

She is a professional troll. Nothing more. She feeds on the outrage she generates. Mainstream media outlets have washed their hands of her, so the best thing we can do is ignore her.

Havaina · 12/12/2019 11:59

Just checked out her Twitter feed. So much hatred for Islam and Muslims, her feed is dominated by it.

Anyone think she may convert to Islam one day?

PBo83 · 12/12/2019 12:07

Just checked out her Twitter feed. So much hatred for Islam and Muslims, her feed is dominated by it.

I've just looked myself and her 'hatred of Muslims' appears to be a hatred of Muslim grooming (and other criminal) gangs...which seems fair enough.

astralweaks · 12/12/2019 12:07

She is not exactly an oil painting herself - see pic above - so must be delusional about her own charms and ability to nick husbands.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 12/12/2019 12:12

The way I understand it, a trolley was eventually found for the young boy, but prior to that he had been on the coats whilst waiting. So not false. He had been there.

BertrandRussell · 12/12/2019 12:15

My 78 year old MIL spent 12 hours on hard plastic chairs in A&E last month. I wish we had taken photographs.

libdumps · 12/12/2019 12:18

Oh dear. Maybe nuLabour shouldn't have signed all those PFI contacts in that case...

libdumps · 12/12/2019 12:18

QuestionableMouse · 12/12/2019 12:22

My aunt recently waited over 24 hours for an ambulance. Suspected stroke. If I could have got her in the car I would have taken her myself.

SmoothOrange · 12/12/2019 13:08

I have blocked her from Social Media so I can not see stuff about her that has been retweeted. She fills me with such anger and frustration

andpancakesforbreakfast · 12/12/2019 13:16

'Full time mummy is not a job title. It is a biological status.'

I completely agree with that. It's just common sense.

Sannapaws · 12/12/2019 13:18

She's a rent-a-bigot. I doubt even her kids like her much.

Fr0g · 12/12/2019 13:19

suspect she'll get worse, competing with this years apprentice rejrct Lottie Lion to see who can be mosr ghastly.

andpancakesforbreakfast · 12/12/2019 13:19

What I find extraordinary is the fact that people cannot handle someone they don't agree with. KH is not a politician, she doesn't represent us in any way. She is not a threat to our country, she is not a terrorist trying to raise and brainwash idiots to create as much casualty as possible.
She has views that you are against. So what? How can people get in such a rage because they are "offended"?

Of course disagree if you do, and be free to dislike her. But the need to insult her, wish her the worst luck in the world, really? It's pathetic. It says more about haters than about her.

PBo83 · 12/12/2019 13:26

What I find extraordinary is the fact that people cannot handle someone they don't agree with.

Couldn't agree more.

I work in IT and one of my colleagues actually modified a Chrome plug-in to block any references to Piers Morgan, it's pathetic.

Hearing opinions that you don't agree with is far more healthy (and valuable) than living in an echo chamber.

BertrandRussell · 12/12/2019 13:27

I don’t have a problem with people having different opinions to me. People who think there should be much less immigration that I do? Fine - I can see why they think that. People who compare refugees to cockroaches? Nope- that offends me.
