AIBU to buy a pregnancy test?

I have been recently diagnosed with infertility, being told I have 'a very low chance' of becoming pregnant after three years TTC.

But, I'm 6 days late for my period. I'm on day 36 of this cycle, which is usually 27 days and regular. I have my usual PMT symptoms of sore boobs and mild cramping but have been feeling mildly nauseous which I don't usually get. However, I haven't had my usual tiredness or emotions.

Am I being unreasonable if I buy a pregnancy test this evening? I don't want to get my hopes up and have the test be negative.. or should I just wait and see what happens?

Surely you're 9 days late not 6? Of course you should buy a test even if it's negative at least you'll know rather than sat there wondering. Good luck Flowers

I would just to rule it out. If that thoughts playing on your mind it can hard to get it out.

Take a test but try not to get your hopes up. Cycles can go off kilter.

Take a test. It will be definitive due to where you are in your cycle.

I'd do a test. It's not impossible that you're pregnant, equally it's not unusual to have a rogue cycle. Sometimes the stress of waiting seems to make it drag out.
