DH thinks it has to be jacket spud, tuna, then cheese.

Where's all the melty goodness??

DH is right

KittenLedWeaning · 19/11/2019 17:18

I agree with you.

Spied · 19/11/2019 17:18

I agree with your dh

stackhead · 19/11/2019 17:18

What's the point of cheese on a jacket if it isn't melted?

Sirzy · 19/11/2019 17:19

Your dh is right.

Pyjamaface · 19/11/2019 17:20

Your DH is right, assuming he also adds a large amount of butter first

ClaraThePigeon · 19/11/2019 17:20

He's right.

glotterbug · 19/11/2019 17:20

I believe tuna and cheese shouldn't appear in the same plate! For me it would have to be either or..... but totally agree the cheese needed to be meaty

Polydactyly · 19/11/2019 17:20

I’m with you. Melty cheese then tuna.

glotterbug · 19/11/2019 17:20

Melty not meaty!

Apolloanddaphne · 19/11/2019 17:21

My DH does tuna then cheese. I would do cheese then tuna, except I would rather the tuna was coleslaw!

TerrifiedandWorried · 19/11/2019 17:21

Egg mayo on one half, tuna mayo on the other half. Beans with melty cheese on the side.

dementedpixie · 19/11/2019 17:21

Not cheese with tuna. Tuna and coleslaw maybe. Chilli and cheese so the hot chilli melts the cheese. Or beans and cheese would do too

NorthUtsire · 19/11/2019 17:22

It doesn't matter what the topping is - cheese always goes on first so it melts into the potato!

WineOrGinOrBoth · 19/11/2019 17:22

You are both wrong.

In this order

Butter
Tuna mayo at room temperature
Sweet corn
Baked beans
Cheese

HTH Grin

MrsFoxPlus4Again · 19/11/2019 17:23

Ok so I make it like your DH but I want melty goodness now

5foot5 · 19/11/2019 17:23

Another vote against cheese AND tuna.

It has to be tuna with sweetcorn and mayonnaise or cheese with baked beans

Serenity45 · 19/11/2019 17:23

Melty cheese obviously, though you mash it all together before eating. Your DH is a savage LTB

Sparrowlegs248 · 19/11/2019 17:24

Cheese first regardless of anything else. Bloody weirdos.

CupCupGoose · 19/11/2019 17:26

I would have said your DH is right, but actually, good point about wanting the cheese melty, so I agree with you.

CheesePleaseLoueese · 19/11/2019 17:26

Agree with ApolloandDaphne...

Melty cheese and coleslaw; or
Melty cheese and beans; or yes (at a push)
Melty cheese and tuna

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 19/11/2019 17:27

Butter, then cheese, then tuna, then more cheese. Everyone's a winner.

CheesePleaseLoueese · 19/11/2019 17:27

Melty cheese FIRST

Thehop · 19/11/2019 17:28

You are a savage. Cheese on top. ALWAYS

Elbowedout · 19/11/2019 17:30

Mix the tuna and cheese together before putting in the spud.
