Potato
Garlic butter
Cheese
Salad Cream
Tuna.

Had this for lunch probably 3 days a week between 1996 and 1998 (Other 2 work days were an M&S cheese layered salad)

Tuna with cheese? What have I just read Grin

Tuna with red onion
Beans and cheese
Chilli and cheese!
Or just cheeeeese Grin

Xiaoxiong · 20/11/2019 08:46

Am I the only one who puts the jacket potato back in the oven for the cheese on top to melt? Surely that is the best of all worlds!

WineOrGinOrBoth · 20/11/2019 08:47

On the back of this thread I’ve informed dh we are having jacket potatoes & tuna mayo tonight. I. Cannot.wait. Grin

Oneborneverydecade · 20/11/2019 09:30

Another vote against cheese AND tuna.

It has to be tuna with sweetcorn and mayonnaise or cheese with baked beans

This

PrincessHoneysuckle · 20/11/2019 09:44

Potato.
Butter.
Cheese.
Tuna mayo

Extra points if put butter under potato so you get buttery coated skin at the end

scaryteacher · 20/11/2019 09:51

Cheese mixed into the tuna with mayo, chopped spring onion, chopped celery and some cayenne pepper. Put on baked spud and return to oven to melt the cheese. More cheese on top if needed. Coleslaw on the side.

WarmSausageTea · 20/11/2019 09:54

Jacket potato, leave tuna in fridge/cupboard, butter, cheese. (And hardened arteries.)

YourOpinionIsNoted · 20/11/2019 09:56

Potato, butter, cheese, tuna mayo, more cheese. Everyone's a winner.

EmperorBallpitine · 20/11/2019 09:56

Both under and on top. Over butter.
I'm more of a beans than tuna girl but anyhow.
Wine

JigsawsAreInPieces · 20/11/2019 10:00

Not cheese and tuna! Cheese and beans or cheese and onion.

Tuna with the smallest smidge of mayo and black pepper. 😋

Butterflyjive · 20/11/2019 10:00

Tuna then cheese then microwave for a minute so its all melty

thaegumathteth · 20/11/2019 10:03

Cheese then tuna for dd who is the only one who eats tuna

123feraverto · 20/11/2019 10:05

Butter
Cheese
Tuna
Cheese
Beans
Grin

Evilmorty · 20/11/2019 10:07

I do it tuna then cheese, however I do mash it up so that’s it’s tuna/cheese mash. My way the cheese melts but doesn’t go too stringy. I fully accept I am going rogue on this one though.

BustedDreams · 20/11/2019 10:14

Now I want a jacket potato for lunch Grin

maddiemookins16mum · 20/11/2019 10:19

Cheese basically goes on top of everything that involves...cheese.

LemonPrism · 20/11/2019 14:23

It's both, under and on top

ShetlandWife · 20/11/2019 14:25

Neither are correct. Tuna has no place on a baked potato.
