Hair, skin and nails feel better

An excuse to have naps

ichifanny · 09/11/2019 12:43

Lovely thick hair , great skin , feeling the baby move , eating loads of shite , never feeling cold , the resulting baby .

HatingTheBigShow · 09/11/2019 12:45

My hairiness had been massively reduced!

Whichoneofyoudidthat · 09/11/2019 12:54

I loved being pregnant. Loved it. I still remember feeling my babies kick for the first time. I remember waking in the night and feeling them kicking the day before I was to be induced and being sad that it would be the last time. I loved older ladies commenting and saying “not long now!” I loved being told I looked great (I did, I totally rocked pregnancy). I loved buying my first baby grows. I loved the time between stopping work and giving birth and just relishing every second.

My youngest is a teenager.

Congratulations to you. Enjoy this time.

Preggers86 · 09/11/2019 12:56

I'm 40 weeks and have just woken from a guilt free nap Smile

nowifi · 09/11/2019 12:59

The glow, I looked so much better pregnant, then I gave birth and it's all been downhill ever since!

Lotus90 · 09/11/2019 13:03

You just look incredible when preg - skin, hair - everything! It's seriously downhill afterwards though so be warned

Greywalls12 · 09/11/2019 13:03

Feeling baby kicking, except when it's under the ribs.
Eating whatever you want without feeling guilty.
Rubbing that lovely big belly and feeling baby's limbs through it.
Napping whenever you want and not feeling guilty about not getting anything done.

ELM8 · 09/11/2019 13:03

Eating like a pig without feeling guilty (I'm lucky weight is only going on my bump)

Being lazy without feeling guilty, including but not limited to:

  • Husband waiting on me hand and foot (lighthearted)
  • Day time naps
  • Getting out of social plans I don't want to do (usually a yes-person)
  • Early nights

I'm fully aware most of the above are only possible when it's your first child so trying to make the most of it Grin

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 09/11/2019 13:04

Pregnant or not. If you’re feel guilty about eating. There are obviously underlying factors going on.

RolytheRhino · 09/11/2019 13:05

Lol. I didn't like any of it!

I guess when people let me off doing things at work was the least rubbish part.

Iamnotagoddess · 09/11/2019 13:05

The conception.

CeeCeeEnnEss · 09/11/2019 13:06

I used to say, ‘I can’t help/come, I’m busy growing a baby’ if there was something I didn’t want to do/attend. That was good.

Celebelly · 09/11/2019 13:07

Not having to care about whether your tummy sticks out or not! It was v freeing. Also had great hair and nails!

OnTheFenceWithMostViews · 09/11/2019 13:07

Movements.
Seeing the scan pics especially the 4d

Ps.. Jealous much of all the lovely skin and hair one. My skin is now oily and spotty
Hair is brittle and dry.. Not matter what I use.

Secrets please lol

RolytheRhino · 09/11/2019 13:08

Eating like a pig without feeling guilty (I'm lucky weight is only going on my bump)

Careful. I was the same but the bump eventually stretched the skin past the point of no-return and now my stomach resembles elephant hide. I'll never wear a bikini again. I shall warn you as I wish someone had warned me.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 09/11/2019 13:10

Now we’ve got someone talking about guilt free sleep.
Sleeping and eating are two of the most natural things in the world. Why do you have to be pregnant to eat or sleep with out being the devil incarnate. Confused

mynameiscalypso · 09/11/2019 13:11

It's over after 9 months?

maudspellbody · 09/11/2019 13:13

I liked having a little shelf to rest my hands on. I missed it after DD was born!

rhowton · 09/11/2019 13:13

There are in fact, no good bits to being pregnant.😂

Sleepyquest · 09/11/2019 13:13

Give over baby spider!

It's light hearted. I pig out a bit sometimes cos I feel i need the energy. And I nap occasionally for the same reason. I wouldn't normally nap as adults tend to have things they need to do but pregnancy is a time where you can and should do what's best for your body!!

I have also found my body hair is growing less quickly which is great!

RolytheRhino · 09/11/2019 13:13

It's over after 9 months?

Ooh, yes. I want to change my answer!

PopcornAndWine · 09/11/2019 13:15

Definitely feeling the kicks and being able to see them move! I remember towards the end of my pregnancy being so impatient to meet baby but at the same time feeling sad that we would never be this closely connected again.
