Anyone else up to something they shouldn't be?

I'm laying in bed in my dressing gown on mumsnet. I have my laptop on the bed with the sound turned up so I hear if anyone instant messages or Skype calls me! It's really not in keeping with the company culture to skive off like this!

I SHOULD be working from home, sat in my office dealing with a load of work. I should be at minimum dressed before the kids get home!

ANYONE else want to confess to being up to something you shouldn't be?! If so, what and what should you be doing!?

I'm not doing very well at this. I've told DH that I've got the worst case of galloping consumption this side of the 18th century and can do no more than lie on the sofa, sighing faintly. I've got a bit of a cold, a good book and a strong sense of CBA. I could have got away with it, but I'm dosed up on Sudafed and doing housework.

We sent the kids to school, went back to bed and slept till 12, bliss

I'm on MN in the office at the moment. Feeling very Friday-ish and not answering any calls.

lol yep - reading MN at work To be fair, I'm going on maternity leave next friday and I have sod all else to do. Literally turning up and being paid to do jack shit a present

Our autistic son was at respite last night, and they take him straight to school the following morning. So far I've got the day off, we've had a lie-in, I've eaten a leisurely breakfast, we've mooched round shops (most noticeably a shop with breakables on display!), and we've had a chippy lunch. He'll be home in 90 minutes and the mayhem will start again

I shouldn’t be eating MC Donalds as I still need to lose 3 kgs post partum weight.

I've escaped my office and overly demanding boss to have a dump in peace and read MN. Happy friday

I'm in bed eating my husbands Wispa bites instead of doing uni work.

Had to leave work as DC's school closed at 10 due to no water and no-one else to pick them up, so pottering and wearing my new kitten at the homent

More not doing what I should.. IE shopping and housework.

I never normally do this but having such an unproductive day so I just painted my nails.. should be WFH

I've just finished work and come home to find dp who had a day off and I presumed would tidy around has had a sleep and done fuck all. So rather than do as I should and make a start before DC come home at 3 I've decided to sit here on my bed and silently fume contemplating doing nothing ever again...

I'm sitting watching Escape to the Chateau DIY on catch up and eating chocolate chips by the handful rather than doing... well, anything I should be. Washing up, laundry, tidying, assembling the second bookcase which has just been delivered... the list is long 😁

I'm making a shopping list, wiping down the kitchen and folding laundry which all seems very productive but I really ought to be writing a uni essay!

Getting my eyebrows threaded!! Supposed to be doing my accounts.

I'm on a deadline for a new book. I'm 60,000 words in so I reckon I'm due a rest - there's plenty of time. So I'm MNing on my laptop, with Come Dine with Me on the telly, We're just back from a nine mile run.

I will do ANYTHING rather than write atm. Hence the nine mile run. And the subsequent fluffy jammies and watching people argue over beef stew.

I've just put on a sweaty Betty outfit. I'm taking my kid to McDonald's in it

I'm sat here with coffee and pulla, on mn, instead of folding laundry.

Another one here who should be working from home but actually doing very little.

Eaten a huge amount of the not-quite-burnt bonfire toffee I made on Tuesday

Had the hump so stopped off at McDonald’s on my way to do the food shop and ate a Big Mac meal in the car
