Anyone else up to something they shouldn't be?

I'm laying in bed in my dressing gown on mumsnet. I have my laptop on the bed with the sound turned up so I hear if anyone instant messages or Skype calls me! It's really not in keeping with the company culture to skive off like this!

I SHOULD be working from home, sat in my office dealing with a load of work. I should be at minimum dressed before the kids get home!

ANYONE else want to confess to being up to something you shouldn't be?! If so, what and what should you be doing!?

I have just swept the garden. I am supposed to be resting as my RA is bad but our neighbors three giant trees have shed their leaves all over our garden and the cats keep bringing in leaves, which is driving me nuts. DH will say he was doing it tomorrow but it is forecast rain and I can't bear the mess any longer.

I should be diligently listening and engaging in worlds most boring long winded telecom.... I am on mute and actually alternating between MN and plants v zombies.... occasionally off mute to add a aha..mmmm...

I should be doing housework but I'm on the sofa, with a blanket and the cats, watching West Wing and eating dark chocolate rice cakes. Heaven.

I’ve been doing things at 0.3 MPH. so very very unproductive.

I should be working, I'm sat on the sofa with the log burner going and the dogs

I'm looking at black cape coats at work when I should be writing a report!!!

Awwww! Potato is well worth the wait! I miss wearing a kitten and having all the bed space taken up by cats! (mine died in respectable old age)

Ok lay on the bed supposed to be putting washing away. If I put my phone in front of the basket, it's like it's not there!

I should be researching my second book and working on a synopsis. Failing that, I should be putting away clean laundry which is currently reaching mountainous proportions in the spare room. But I’m sitting in my cosy, peaceful living room scrolling the internet instead.

Had a lovely afternoon nap w the cat!! Missed dd messaging and asking for a lift from the station 😆

I'm eating cheese snacks and drinking sherry. I'm meant to be losing weight and working.

My twins were at nursery until 2pm today. I have 8 million things to do, including some very stressful and important paperwork. But my period started and it’s agony (thanks endometriosis). So I lay in bed the whole time watching Frasier and drinking coffee.

Now really pissed off with myself for wasting 5 and a half hours, but it felt good at the time!

Left work early and wondering what's the easiest meal to cook for everyone tonight.

I'm also pretending to wfh. In all fairness, I've overworked all week to buy myself some time today. Have guests coming tonight and trying to decide whether to make risotto or pasta

Some of these really made me smile, glad it's not just me!

Now I'm sat feeling guilty that I should help DH clean up for dinner but I've been reading all the posts instead!

Planning a really quiet weekend now so I can face next week when opportunities to skive are going to be very limited!
