Sales assistant flirting with OH?

Ok so I’m pregnant and with my two kids and OH.

See some eye contact going on with OH and sales assistant .

Give her a stare .. yes she is about half our age and pretty ( weren’t we all at that age )

I’m watching his interaction with her and he doesn’t seem to be driving things .

As we leave I’m watching her in a mirror ( with my back to her )

She’s still watching us as we leave ... he has his back to her now ...

So I turn around and look at her full on ... and she flashes a smile and looks away .

WTF was she still looking at ?

AIBU to feel pissed off with this young lady ...

Probably just hormonal right?

Definitely hormones. Reminds me of the time in Bridget jones when it turned out the girl was in love with Bridget. She maybe just looking at your lovely family. Hold your head high and think that girl was really into me. Grin Unless your dh was inappropriate then forget about it. Congratulations on baby.

Maybe she was brazenly flirting with a man she'd just met in front of his pregnant wife.

Or maybe:

  • he looked like someone she knew and she was trying to place him
  • just that day they'd been warned of a prolific shoplifter who fitted his description
  • she'd just found out she was pregnant, but the dad is a tool, and she was looking wistfully at your family and wondering if she'd ever have that
  • she'd just learn that the man who raised her wasn't her father, and now she stares at every man in the right age bracket, wondering if he's her dad.

... Or a million other possibilities. Best to let it go, OP.

The sales assistant half your age is unlikely to have been cracking on to your OH, she has to make eye contact as part of her, y'know, job. Prob scared shitless of you and your death stares now though

Theres loads of other possibilities. But let's say she did. You must have looked ridiculous giving her the death stare.

I was looking at a family the other day especially the dad. He was over 60 with his wife, what appeared to be his daughter and her husband. I was looking because I felt shit. I dont speak to my parents. My mum is awful and dad enables her. But I really miss my dad. I was a tad jealous and wished i had a family like that. Happy and spending time together. Its something i will never have.

sometimes shop assistants do flirt with customers. makes a long day bearable. but equally could have not been. you have no way of knowing, and it doesn't matter. try to forget about it.
