I bought 2 bags of oranges!

Bought new clothes.

I made lentil curry and bought Dimpa storage bags!

Was the lentil curry good? Off to look up dimpa.

I stopped using hot water with bleach

What's wrong with hot water and bleach? I love cleaning with that.

I used dental floss (which I never use) after reading a thread on using it.

Apparently bleach doesn’t work with hot water 🤷🏻‍♀️

I restocked my depleted Brexit stash from March - now good for coffee pasta tins spices loo roll etc.

I read on a thread that using hot water makes the active ingredient in bleach less effective. A quick google and I turned up this:

Lentil curry was lovely! It was on the thread about cheap meals. And the dimpa bags I learned about on the exam results/freshers thread. DD goes to uni in three weeks so we are practicing some cheap recipes and getting her stuff packed and ready to go!

I've started cleansing and moisturising my combination skin with jojoba oil and already it has changed my life! My skin is sooo much better!

Meal planned like a boss. I have dinners planned for the whole of September.

Sorted the DC's school uniforms, shoes and bags instead of leaving it to the last minute.

Checked DD's vaccination record. I didn't know about bleach and hot water. I'm glad I clicked on this thread.

Brought my washing in last night. It wasn't quite dry, and I knew it wasn't going to rain, but I didn't want it getting darked on.

The last 2 were Camping Fabulous just outside Rome and Vilanova Park near Barcelona. This time I’ve got a bargain for next May half term at Marina di Venezia near Venice. Can’t wait 😊
