To think this isn't a condom wrapper?

This appeared in my house today. No idea what it is, or where it came from!
DH thinks it's a condom wrapper. I have no idea? Doesn't look like that to me, it's small, more papery than made of foil..
Any ideas??

This looks like packaging from another country....
Something cheap on ebay or something?

Say from China, Hong kong etc...

NCB2019 · 19/08/2019 23:32

Lols like an alcohol wipe packet because...

I bought a magnet holder for my phone for in the car. Which has sticky pads. There was an alcohol wipe in a packet just like this, for using on the surface before putting the sticky pads on.

It’s definitely a seasoning sachet from noodles, really not a mystery I thought it as soon as I seen it!

PancakeAndKeith · 19/08/2019 23:42

Not a condom wrapper, they have an expiry date on.

BlueCornsihPixie · 20/08/2019 00:11

I would say seasoning or maybe even some kind of medication sachet?

My initial thought was a wipe, but it's been opened quite carefully which makes me think the contents was spillable. A wipe you would just tear!

It's definitely not a condom wrapper though!

howyoulikemenow · 20/08/2019 00:15

If it was flavouring etc it would have a smell or residue. Never seen a condom wrapper like that either.

tirednhungry247 · 20/08/2019 00:57

It looks like some kind of probiotic sachet. It's definitely for holding some form of dried powder (as the plastic inside lining)

tirednhungry247 · 20/08/2019 01:02

Condom wrappers have a kind of "hold to them" and are quite easy to shape and bend. If you try to rip away at one of the corners again you should feel a bit of a tug, if it glides it's some kind of noodle packet.

Condom expert over here

movingontosomethingnew · 20/08/2019 10:33

It's from koka noodles. Had them as a snack last night with the exact same seasoning packet.

skybluee · 20/08/2019 11:56

Still think it's these...

It looks like condom wrapper that has been kept for a long time so the markings have gone. I’m only assuming so as it’s quite crumpled up...

Also why would a noodle spice packet be stuffed between the sofa ??

Just my opinion

tirednhungry247 · 20/08/2019 12:07

@skybluee you're probs right but do you mean another brand? They have "born pretty" across the foil/wrapper.

Gooseygoosey12345 · 20/08/2019 12:35

Not a condom wrapper. It's the wrong material, no use by date, and they don't really crumple like that. I'd say either a wipe or seasoning packet

skybluee · 20/08/2019 14:17

Yep tired - a cheap generic brand like from aliexpress. Because of the indent square in it that was pointed out, so it looks like a wipe was in there. And also because those ones, on the other pictures, have a plastic lining in them.

Pollypenguin01 · 20/08/2019 14:23

This looks like what my gel polish wipes come in - you can get a box of loads of them off eBay etc quite cheap as they are not branded.

^ I agree with this. I knew I had seen a packet like this (and it wasn’t a condom) and that is where I’ve seen them before.

pomers · 20/08/2019 17:36

Condom wrappers usually have a kite mark and expiry date as well as branding

gowgow · 20/08/2019 17:57

Could it be from one of those tablets that you insert in an electric mosquito-repellent machine?

sj1645 · 20/08/2019 18:09

It's not a condom wrapper. Condoms are medical devices regulated by laws that are enforced by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MRHA) in the UK. As such, condom manufacturer's have very strict labeling requirements (amongst many others) to ensure the safety and efficacy of the condoms. The labeling requirements include requirements to print the manufacturer's name, the brand name, and expiry/manufacturing date on the wrapper. Not including this information would be a crime. It's probably a spice packet from a pack of Ramen noodles.

Al2O3 · 20/08/2019 18:11

Some say seed packet. Some say condom.

Surely they are the same thing?

katewhinesalot · 20/08/2019 18:13

Is it just you and DH at home? That narrows it down a bit if kids/teens aren't involved.

Ranorman45 · 20/08/2019 18:26

Could it be from an alcohol wipe you use before you apply a screen protector?

AwdBovril · 20/08/2019 18:27

Pot Noodles have logo branding on the sachet. (DH ate one last nigh... ugh.) Could be a Super Noodle sachet though. He eats them too. (again - ugh)

But I actually agree with the wipe theory - it does look like there was a little square shape in there.

LucyAutumn · 20/08/2019 18:36

Looks like a contraceptive patch packet

LucyAutumn · 20/08/2019 18:39

Actually I've just looked up patch packets and it's nothing like them Blush

whattodo2019 · 20/08/2019 18:40

Salt packet for crisps?
