Trolling the troll, like trollception?

Giving them attention just encourages more.

But some people are so earnest and have absolutely no idea that they are being trolled and pour our heart and soul into their thoroughly thought out pearls of wisdom.
This has in no way ever happened to me btw .

There are a couple of forums that have ‘troll pits’, so just a board where they all get moved to.

I suppose it hides them in plain sight rather than the majority of users having no clue who they are but then most forums don’t allow the name changing so frequently.

I assume as the daily fail and others pick up the stories on here with such frequency MNHQ have to remove the troll posts in case of that...eg papers thinking posts are genuine and reporting them as such, when they are clearly not?

I really hope they don't. Quietly removing them and taking away their fun is the way to go. Why would we want a 'troll pit'? It unbelievable enough as it is here sometimes. Not everyone wants to make the time to engage with the twats.
